I enjoyed my stay with my housekeeper picking up all and putting fresh towels as I forgot to rehang to reuse. I have in previous stays come to same hotel with my family. Little glitch always when purchasing breakfast with stay but front desk and bar are able to fix the issue. Please remember to always tip those that are serving or cleaning after you. We must appreciate what they do but also know we all need a reminder of good service is noticed.

Got stranded in Chicago due to a storm. I was going to consider my experience fine; the room was there, I got a discount through my airline, and the restaurant was open so we could grab food. However when I realized how far away it was I was a bit annoyed it was recommended as an airport hotel. Then I called for the shuttle and they said it stopped at 8pm, it was 8:30. So I had to take a $50 taxi to get there. But I figured at least the morning shuttle will be available. On check in we were asked what time we needed the shuttle. We said 830, then returned a few minutes later and said 815 would be better. She said no problem and I assumed signed us up for that time. Proceed to the next morning when our phone rang at 755 and the very rude woman on the phone said ā€œyou scheduled the shuttle for 815 right?ā€ I said yes, and she then said that it was leaving now because other people wanted to go to the airport earlier and so I couldn’t be able to use the shuttle until 845. I then begged for 5 minutes and we proceeded to shove everything in our bags as quick as possible to make it down there. Both people on the shuttle said they were not in a hurry and didn’t need to leave 15 minutes earlier or force us to leave in 5 minutes. This was handled so poorly in an already stressful trip for us. 15 minutes didn’t mean much to anyone else, but it was the difference between glasses, teeth brushed, clothes change, and no stress for me. Extremely disappointed with the lack of care, tact, or professionalism from the front desk person and shuttle driver. Don’t offer the service if you don’t want to do it well.

I felt like I wasted my hard earned points on my stay. My room was disgusting hair and dust everywhere. The toilet had issues flushing the entire time. The shower leaked water all over the floor didn’t matter how I set it up. Almost fell on numerous occasions. The towels felt like sand paper and scraped my skin off. No exaggeration I lost the desire to shower due to the wet floor and rough towels. The infused water has days old oranges in it and I could taste the fermentation inside. I have had plenty of infused water and it never tasted like that just show to how deep they are willing to cut corners giving away ā€œfree garbageā€ water. I visited during Ramadan and the staff could not even offer water to me when I asked for it. Very rude staff that felt personally offended when I asked for water and towels due to my wet floor. I love Marriott and I have stayed in properties all over America this is my second bad review ever in more than 8 years. I’m just a regular person that expected regular things. There are a million hotels in Chicago yes it’s close to good stuff but it’s not worth it better keep looking.

Used their parking service and they only have one shuttle going ever, so it is a 40 minute timeframe difference if you miss it. I literally got to it right as the driver was about to drive away and they did not stop. I called to ask if they could still try to pick up since they were in the immediate area and they told me that my only option was to wait. First time using this and not sure I’ll be using it again. Just added another hour to my full day trip home, where I now have to drive two more hours afterward. I’ll also note that I had actually called the hotel regarding the shuttle to ensure they knew I requested as well, so the very least they could do is ensure that requested riders get on.

The hotel was ok for being close to the airport. Our heat/ac made a loud noise when we turned it on. The iron was broken and we asked for a replacement and the person at the desk said they sent us a new on out of the box. The iron clearly had wear as if it had been used. No vent in the bathroom which made the room humid and no microwave which forces you to either eat at the Cafe which the food is good or just go out to get food. The pool was great and the beds were pretty comfy.

Don’t stay here with an infant / toddler!!!!!!

The hotel looks nice. The front desk people are courteous and rooms are decent/quiet but that’s it. In fact they are very helpful.
I traveled with an infant to drop of my family. Prior to booking, I made multiple calls to the property. Asked if breakfast is included and they said yes but upon reaching the breakfast table they told me that it isn’t. Think of my embarrassment in front of family. However, the biggest complaint I had is the accommodation for infants. I was told prior to booking that they would provide crib but it turns out pack and play. Then when the pack and play arrived, we found that the mattress can’t be fixed to the framework and the sheet they provided was for a regular bed (not what jpma asks for meaning unsafe and unclean). We had to co-sleep, which is unsafe. Then the bed was so bed ( not firm) that my baby with his tiny weight made few inches of indentation meaning if he turns he can suffocate himself. So we ended up staying awake whole night watching him. Felt that it was better to stay in a motel. Sorry I expected better.

I made an reservation at this hotel expecting the convenience of the complimentary shuttle service they proudly advertise. What I got was over an hour standing in the freezing cold at the airport’s 2C LL pick-up point, watching every other hotel’s shuttle breeze by. The last shuttle was supposed to arrive by 9:30 PM—alas, it was more like a mythical creature: often spoken of, but never seen.

The phone number provided for the driver? Out of service. Front desk? Utterly helpless, with no way to contact their own shuttle driver—an operational black hole that’s hard to believe exists in the year 2024. Two phone calls later, all I got was a metaphorical shrug.

As an Elite Gold Member, I expected better—or at least functional communication and service. Marriott didn’t just drop the ball last night; they lost a customer. And maybe, just maybe, Courtyard won’t be making an appearance on my future hotel list either.

Bravo, Marriott, for redefining "hospitality."

Checking in at almost 9pm, this was very quick. Literally gave name, ID, she gave me the keys and said have a good night. Nothing more. Nothing less. Pleasant enough but seemed to be either really bored, tired, or just didn't want to be there.

The room is actually quite spacious. Beds were made and clean. I was slightly worried after reading some of the Google reviews, but all seemed fine. Closet and dresser available with a large ironing board.

Bathroom is separated by a door from the vanity sink, with toilet and shower inside. Roomy enough to move around. Haven't tried the water pressure yet, will update later. Hair dryer available. Complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in attached containers in the shower.

Large screen TV, small fridge in kitchenette with one cup coffee maker. NO microwave, which was sad for us to heat up food. NO safe in room.

There's a small balcony with 2 chairs and a small table that overlooks the open space between two buildings. Fresh air.

This hotel is approximately 15-20 minutes from Allstate Arena and not from from Chicago O'Hare airport. FREE parking on site. Location was easy to find on the corner of main intersection.

Will consider again in future visits to the area.
