I’m convinced that these people are either pocketing the money that the government sends them, or they’re sending the money to other places and purposely not helping Rockford residents. It’s so many people struggling all over this city and every time you try to get assistance somewhere else, this is the first place that they suggest. It’s literally impossible to get help from this place and they’re always giving you the runaround no matter what. It’s beyond frustrating to people like myself that can’t get help and are trying to avoid having to live outside in the cold. I don’t know what’s going on, but there needs to be an investigation. Or, at least tell everyone that there’s no more funds to help us so that way we can stop wasting our time calling or having to wait until the next week to call just to keep getting told the same thing!

I called several times they claimed they put me on the list and someone would call me for liheap. It was all lies.... they don't take care of the people. I lost my light because of them

This place is ridiculous… how can you help Boone and other counties when you cant help the people in your own city. It’s like as you’re calling they want you to compete for help!! Basically that’s what this place is a competition for help. I can only imagine how many people really get the help seeing as their phone line is always busy. This is a joke

Been calling the past two Fridays to apply for liheap...NOBODY ANSWERS THE PHONE! It don't even go to a recording! and when it does it just rings and rings!!!! Absolutely ridiculous!

liheap is full of it. I went to get my car fixed, and they gave me the run around like the money is there's then the the lady told a lady that came in the door complaining that her service was off she told her to pay her bill I don't think they should be over anything they need to be investigated audit or something there very rude no sympathy at all how did they get a job they say they don't have any money left yeah your giving it to your family members because you never answer the phone so if you need help go to the governor and complain to get these people out of there

Radio show concert tickets type call in for government liheap applications.? One day a week and only the lucky ones get help . I'd rather be on the bottom of a list behind the aged and handicap. Even calling from living in my vehicle isn't enough to get an appointment. The heavy accented lady who was rude said" life just ain't fair ." Such a worthless person holding down people in need .that's how we got here in life , dumb people tripping is up .

These people discriminate the clients that apply here! I give you all the advice of contacting the department of inspector general’s office and have them investigate any decisions they make! They have something against minorities and feel like if we don’t bow down to them despite of us qualifying for the help they turn needy families away! I have made a complaint and I’m going to get this office investigated the government gives grants to qualified citizens! Not yo who you all feel gets it based off their attitude!
