Our weekend stay at Sherry's was absolutely magical! We stayed in the Presidential Chamber for 2 nights, the room was gorgeous and felt so luxurious, especially the bed. The cozy atmosphere was perfect for reading and relaxing, in the daytime the room got great natural lighting!

The morning breakfast was delicious: fresh fruit, homemade scones and a hot meal with coffee & orange juice. We enjoyed chatting with the other guests and Sherry while we ate around the dining table. We adored everything about the decorations and beautiful real wood furniture.

We enjoyed the short walk around the corner to the wonderful collection of restaurants offering delicious cuisine like The Black Bear Bistro, which we walked to on our second night. Not only was the mini fridge in our room was perfect for storing all our leftovers, but it also came stocked with free water bottles and a variety of sodas.

We'd definitely recommend the Victorian Rose Garden Bed and Breakfast if you're looking for a cozy relaxing getaway from the stresses of life!

Sherry runs an absolutely beautiful bed and breakfast! Me and my partner had a truly lovely time. The surrounding area was peaceful, the amenities were thoughtful and made our stay comfortable, and were plenty of eateries in walking distance. We really couldn't have asked for a better experience! I must add, Sherry is an excellent baker (her cookies were delicious) and the breakfast she served had top notch presentation and taste. We hope to visit again soon!

Ahhh...total relaxation in comfort, pampering and peace! For a Mother/Daughter escape weekend, we chose the Victorian Rose Garden B&B. I had been there 12 years ago with a rowdy group of girlfriends and we loved it then! This was a weekend of pure unwinding - we slept long and hard and were so grateful for the quiet comfort of our room. Breakfasts were still ample and delicious and so beautifully served - just as I remembered. Treat yourself to Sherry's impeccable hospitality!

Sherry is an amazing host! My 8 yr old son and I stayed for a night when we were passing through the area. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was great. The location is a block away from Main St. and was very quiet. Thank you!

This was my second stay with my husband at this delightful bed and breakfast. There is outdoor seating to enjoy the garden and the neighborhood has great dining choices in walking distance. I had a wonderful nights rest in Lady Teresa’s Room and delicious breakfast and coffee.

This was our first time staying at a bed and breakfast and I am glad we did! The house was beautiful and so clean. We stayed in Sir James room and it was spacious, clean, and had a private bathroom. The back patio is a great touch - perfectly shaded in the summer with a great warm breeze. Sherry was an excellent host - very friendly, personable, and hospitable. The breakfast was delicious. If I ever go back to Algonquin, I would stay here over any of the hotels. The location is also great - it is right downtown Algonquin with great restaurants, walking/biking paths, ice cream & coffee shops, within in walking distance.

First of all, Sherry is a wonderful innkeeper. She is kind, attentive, and also a wonderful cook. Breakfast was delicious!
There are a lot of Victorian details, yet there is excellent wifi and a smart TV in every room. It's a perfect combination of the old and the new.
We had a terrific experience, and I recommend the Victorian Rose Garden for anyone visiting Algoquin, IL or the surrounding area.
