Beautiful scenic views, trails for a short walk or longer hike, and lots of wildlife. Birdwatchers will love it! Very updated, clean and informative visitors center to learn about the area and history. Great place to take the family. Very nice person at the front desk to answer your questions. Cozy little library if you would like to just sit and relax and read a book. Free parking and admission.

Any open land is beautiful in my opinion. As I was in the area, I popped over to check this out and I will definitely be back to spend a day here. My goal will be to see the Glacial Park Conservation Area in all seasons. Beautiful, just beautiful!

We went 7.3.23. when you first pull into the area there is no posted speed so use caution. There is a rentable pavilion pretty immediately on the right. Many of the areas were blocked off. There was no hiking trails by the house/barn and only one noticeable trail by the hall. We drove around the visitors center parking area but there was no trail visible from the lot and the buildings aren't pet friendly.

So we found the outhouses and there were three trails by that. We took the easier one, hiked for 30 min and then went back.

There were a lot of bees/wasps/hornets, but also a lot of butterflies. I saw at least 5 different types of birds. I didn't see many of rabbits or chipmunks, but my dog sure did.

Beautiful place to hike. We loaded up the kids and dogs to go for our hike here. Lots of large, open area to hike and take in the scenery. Definitely will be back to explore some other trails.

Came here a couple days ago in mid-October for a walk along the trail and I can say it is a very beautiful area. I am sure the marshland looks even better in the warmer months but there was a tinge of red and orange across the prairie and it looked really nice. We only walked about a mile or so into the trail but I definitely want to come back and explore more

Very scenic location with many things to do. First parking lot you'll pass is right next to Prairie Trail with room to park your trailer or car if you want to ride. Further back there are wooded hilly trails, nature center and outdoor amphitheater.
