This place has really change since we started going back in the day now adding lots of new stuff lots of upgrades and new areas making it even More fun , can’t wait till April 22nd I hear is the eta for the casino to open i hope they’ll have a hotel pool spa and resort there to bring so local and close will be a nice weekend get away if they do . Fyi check out my pic in the new lounge area this is my all time favorite place to be when I go feels like my own man cave with all my buddy’s just bigger and mores tvs and better service then home lol

The off-track betting side is consistent. The betting machines are a little dated, but they get the job done.

The sports betting side is more up to date then the off track betting side.

They need more machines. Always seem to be waiting for a machine to open.

I'm excited about live racing, returning the fun and in person racing.

I haven’t been at this track in 25 years. No admission fee which was a nice surprise. Long line to buy a racing program and tip sheets. I like they have machines or cashiers to place bets and to cash tickets. We tried to make reservations at the Top of the Turf restaurant three days prior but they were sold out so we ate at a restaurant close to the track. We didn’t want the buffet option at the track. Parking is free and there are entry gates at both ends of the parking lot.

On Kentucky Derby day the new owners have decided to screw over the public. A table for six is 300 dollars and the meal is a turkey or pastrami wrap. No thanks! Last year it was 30 dollars a person and you got a fried chicken meal. 50 dollars for a crap meal and a horrible sound system in the Black Stallion room is a total rip off.

Horse Hooky Tuesdays are a fun and enjoyable way to soak up some sun on a warm summertime afternoon. 1 pm post time, free parking, free admission, $1 hot dogs, $1 sodas, and $1.50 drafts. 7 race thoroughbred card if you want to try your luck at the betting windows. Lively crowds and festive atmosphere. If you are a non-smoker heads up: Smoking is permitted anywhere on the outside grounds, and the second hand smoke in the grandstand area is pervasive. Be prepared for you and your clothes to reek of cheap cigars and cigarettes if you spend any time in the outdoor seating areas / venues.

If this is your first time at a horse race I would recommend going on Tuesday. Since it was my first time at a horse race I appreciated the fact that the crowd was not super large and had time to stand around a betting machine to learn how it works. Even though it was not full the atmosphere was nice.

Had a blast at this place. Food is very reasonably priced. The races were super exciting. Wish I knew more about betting. If you go here and plan to do a little betting on horses, take cash so you can use the self service machines instead of waiting in line to place a bet.

I’m here every single weekend for football on Sunday and today they decided to change one of the NFL games to NBA. I asked them to change it back because it was an important game and part of the reason I was here. They put it on the farthest tv away from me making it hard to watch. They only put the NBA game on so the employees could watch what they wanted. No one else cared about that game.Couldn’t have felt more disrespected by the 3 people behind the desk. I drive an hour to come watch here, and it’s never been a problem before. There wasn’t a seat closer to it and it made the experience way worse. So much for hospitality to the people that pay to come here.
