I have been to several escape rooms in several big cities and I never would have thought that the best one was just 20 minutes from me in Zion, IL. We had been to one in Gurnee that was okay but on the chance there were any closer, we decided to check and up popped Edge of Escape. We booked and waited for our date. Our date came and 2 people in our party woke up sick. We called and they happily reschedule the date for us. Our 2nd date came and we arrived and were welcomed at the door, signed a waiver, was shown to the bathroom and then a little waiting room that had gorgeous vintage furniture in it (great photo ops). Once our whole party arrived, we watched a quick video and went over the rules with our host and then we were shown into our room. The room setup was REALLY well done. Like...you could easily forget you were in modern day Zion, IL. Lol. We played the game, asking for clues only when we really needed them. It was so much fun. We escaped with less than a minute left! After we were done, we took pictures and everyone in our group said they would definitely be back. 10/10 in my book! ❤️ Thanks for such a fun and unique experience! #BuzzyBooth

Such a fun time! We took our 11 year old for her birthday and she loved it! We did “Tunnels Under London”. The room was challenging, but we made it out with 3 minutes to spare, with a little help from our moderator. The details in each room were amazing and we had a blast! We can’t wait to try another one!

'Edge of Escape’ is simply phenomenal! I had the pleasure of working with the general manager, Johnathan, for about two months to plan a private event for 24 people. He was nothing short of amazing, making the whole booking process a breeze and accommodating all of our needs.

The escape rooms were top-notch, each one offering a unique and vibrant experience. We had the opportunity to explore three distinct rooms, including their latest addition, which was completed just a few days prior. The cherry on top was the behind-the-scenes tour of their haunted house, the ‘Dungeon of Doom’.

What really stood out to my colleagues and I was the passion of the group leaders (I believe Blake and Jonathan) and one of the owners, Anthony. You could tell they absolutely love their jobs. Their enthusiasm was infectious, and they went above and beyond to make our experience amazing. They’re not just employees, they’re entertainers, guides, and problem solvers all rolled into one.

So, if you’re looking for a fun escape room experience or planning a private event, ‘Edge of Escape’ is your go-to place. The team there is passionate about what they do and they truly care about making your experience one for the books.

Truly the best escape rooms we have ever been to! We have done many escape rooms over the years and this one by far tops them all! We were happy to see there was a new room this year, House of Specter. While we didn't make it out in time, it was a blast! We have done the Time Machine and The Tunnels Under London and those two rooms were amazing also! We travel almost an hour to get to these rooms because and it is completely worth the drive! Thank you again Edge of Escape Rooms!!!

Had a great time. The presentation was next level. Very immersive, next level. Clean, organized and challenging. If you're a fan of escape rooms, or just a fan of the theatrical, you won't' be disappointed. Amazing staff and the whole experience was 10/10.

My boyfriend and I did The House of Specter; the set was impeccable and the attention to detail was amazing, from the engaging animatronics, to the moss on the trees. The storytelling was engaging and definitely spooky, but not too scary, if you’re concerned about that. The tasks were quite challenging and difficult for just two people. We got through a good amount of the puzzles, but you may want to bring a group in for this one. Regardless, our visit was so much fun.

Fantastic escape rooms! Second time here and just as amazing as the first time. Lots of puzzles and animations which we prefer over locks and codes. This is one of these best companies hosting escape rooms in this area if not the very best.

We completed 2 escape rooms and only have 1 more to try. Dave is an awesome worker and he has been our guy twice! He's awesome and even let us see the haunted house. We will be back for the haunted house and the last escape room!
