I guarantee no other backpacking company will have you sitting around the campfire with strangers crying as you all share your life stories. Bruce is an amazing guide and person and I highly recommend going on one of his trips!

Here is what I love about Born2BeWild... All the details and safety concerns are taken care of! I did not have to worry about researching a route, finding good campsites along the way, worrying about whether the mileage would be too much considering the terrain, worrying about where to find a good water source and the possibility that it might have dried up because of the extreme heat from the summer. Bruce takes care of all of that! He even provides your food! As a mom to 4 kids, that is always my responsibility to plan meals. Having that taken care of is a huge perk! I was able to show up with my pack and enjoy the community and camaraderie with fellow hikers. A great way to refresh and recharge over a weekend!

Born2BeWild never disappoints! Bruce is the best guide a novice or experienced hiker could want as his/her guide. His positivity and humor can turn the most difficult hike into a stroll in the park! His expertise and knowledge on the outdoors allowed me to enjoy many different types of hikes worry free!

We’ve been on two trips with Bruce and we love him! He’s a great time while being professional and keeping everybody’s needs and safety at the head of every decision made while on the trail. He has trips for every experience level, so if you are a beginner you will have a great time. Wow! I was invited for a trip to the High Sierras back in July, and was thoroughly impressed with not only the trail, but the expertise displayed by Bruce and other leaders within the group. Bruce along with the other guides kept up with a large group very well, and always made sure everyone was taken care of. This was my first backpacking trip (7 days) and there was not a single point in which I felt uncomfortable or worried that things would not go as planned. I will definitely be joining in on more of their adventures!
