I was more familiar with the law than our case workers both investigations, out first case worker had a history of drug use. They will try and force you to give up your rights and hold your kid hostage as they extort you for information that they are not supposed to have access to. Clearfield CYS is the worst part about Clearfield. Coming from someone who dealt with them 2 times and never went past an investigation because there was nothing wrong going on, but they drug out the process longer than legally allowed and never even told us when the investigation was over or what was going on the whole time we dealt with them. Horrible experience with this agency and they honestly are doing more harm than good.

I have no children So while they have not directly affected me. They have in under a year that I have lived in the area. Ripped 2 families apart right in front of me. I've had kids knocking on my door crying and seeing if I could take them so they didn't have be taken away This is a terrible place and it needs to be shut down.

This is "supposed" to be an agency to protect children and youth. Children need protection 24/7! This agency has minimal, weekday hours. There is no "Live Chat" or an Email address! It is nearly impossible for me contact this agency. I do not hear well on a phone and some people don't even have a phone so there should be more ways to contact CYS! It is no wonder so many children​ don't get help when they need it. CYS makes it a challenge for the most determined person to report a problem. The average person would just give up. You really need to fix this problem!!!

Unfortunately they are extremely short staffed and far too focused on severely minor issues instead of listening to the person reaching out and looking at the physical evidence

Extremely unprofessional very disrespectful they don't care about the kids all they care about is money you do everything they tell you to do and they still take your kids then during court they make the parents look like trash while they make themselves look good they are legal kidnappers.....I would advise anyone to file a massive lawsuit against the company and all it's employees makes me wonder how they sleep at night knowing they ruin lives and get paid big bucks and get the legal system to turn a blind eye to the horror that goes on at that company shouldn't even be in existence and this is where my tax dollars go what a shame and a waste of time resources and money

Very Unprofessional they are very rude the supervisor is very ignorant!!! We did everything that was required of us and they still took our son away would not listen to a word I had to say told me even though I tested negative for the covid I was still told to go see my child regardless of drs orders!!!
