Very pretty.Golf course view looked amazing.
The wine Sangria was good- but not enough glasses were out.
Food was good...but could be great.... They need to put more into " extra touches". Rolls should be served warm. Servers should be friendly...not all were... Dinner was good. Dessert was brownie a la mode- sounds great, right?....not..... it was served as a hard cold brownie with ice cream.... not very good. As I looked around..not many people ate them. Thank goodness for the homemade cookies from the Wedding Shower family.
This can be an amazing venue...just make sure you really know what you are paying for.

Although my husband and I are not members we have been guests on several occasions. The food and service use to be quite good however, this past weekend once again as a guest the service was quite poor, food fell off the serving tray onto the carpet and laid there throughout the event. Dessert was never served, the red potatoes were raw, chicken not cooked through some chicken was tough. The white sangria container sat empty until the last half hour of the event and the fruit was never replenished and was requested by the head of the event to do so. Thank goodness a variety of cookies was brought in by the mother running the event so it was not too noticeable but sad to see a Country Club fall so far down from the way it use to be. I personally believe a new chef needs to be brought in to bring this Club back up on its feet. Sad, a real shame.

Top notch golf course and country club. The 18th hole come up to one of the greatest views in the valley! The back patio and ball room area is the must be place to watch a sunset after a great round of golf! The staff is always the icing on the cake as the hospitality makes the experience an all around must stop spot!

This evening we were paying guests at the Elmhurst country club. We were in a banquet room next to two large double doors where I’m assuming club members go to dine. All of the traffic in and out of the dining room traversed the side of our banquet room where are event was taking place. It was the most important day of my twins five year membership in the Cub Scouts pack 133 Jefferson Township, As after five years of work they were graduating to be true Boy Scouts. The noise was so loud coming from the dining hall there was no way we could hear any of the childrens skits or performances. The staff was attentive but did not seem to notice as they were peeling back the Velcro on the table cloth skirts that they were making noise over children trying to be presented with awards and acknowledgments. I felt as if our event was an afterthought. The food was very good and the waitstaff for the most part were very attentive but I would not recommend this venue trying to have an event over the noise from the dining hall. Pretty much missed out on most of the presentations during the entire evening. I think that Elmhurst Country club should consider the cost of the venue, the importance of a venue when someone rents their banquet hall andmake better accommodations for privacy.
