Ty At the front desk went above and beyond providing excellent customer service for our recent stay. This was our first time staying here and it truly is a gem! Such history and beautiful architecture. Hotel is immaculate, providing multiple options for food and beverages. Rates were very reasonable ! Parking was a breeze and safe. This is our new place to stay when traveling through.

We had a one night stay while visiting University of Scranton. The location is great with an easy walk to nearby restaurants. I enjoyed the historic feel of the lobby area. Everything was clean and well kept. The beds were cozy and rooms were quiet. Parking was ample and free. I would stay here again.

The building is a beautiful piece of history, being a former train station build in the early 1900s, there was marble, tile, chandeliers, old wooden benches, stained glass and an expansive dining room and bar area space. The rooms were clean and comfortable. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We had dinner in the bar and it was delicious!

I m a first Responders and often have to room overbite. Time to time in emergency I have to cancel a reservation. I was very disappointed I was charged such a high cancelation fee and wasn't even offered a voucher for a future stay. I'm a regular customer I thought my loyalty to their establishment as a client could have been better honored . I have had full refunds in the say exact situation with other hotels

So something is going on with the Rooms here! We stayed In January and had to change rooms because of No Heat. And this past weekend our room had a strange odor. We requested to be moved but they send up someone to check it out. They changed the air filter in the heating unit. (Which didn't help) then they said they would send up house cleaning & spray the room They had no other room to move us to because they were sold out due to the St Patrick's Day Parade. We said ok, then we will check out, this is at 5pm and they said we will have to pay! After a 1/2 hour of back-and-fourth they agreed not to charge us. So on our way out in the elevator we meet a couple and start talking and they had to be moved TWICE because of an odor in their room. We also met a women the day before who asked us if the water in our room was BROWN! If you read other reviews both of these problems are not a 1 time incident. The hotel is beautiful, the staff are very nice, I am writing this bad review of the rooms to help bring attention to the problem in hopes that they address the problem!

Front desk staff was a bit disorganized but they got me checked in. I was in the 3rd floor and went into my room and noticed a weird smell. I suspect they have covered up mold with the textured ceiling wall paper they used. My eyes are streaming and I am taking allergy meds around the clock or I can't wear makeup. There are areas of the hotel where you smell cigarette smoke. Its a beautiful hotel. The beds are comfortable. Service has been great from the staff. Our conference went well as far as I could tell. This older building, though, is kicking my eyes and sinuses. I am glad I packed the meds.The food was great but the chef LOVES garlic. A little less might be good! Will I return? Yes with many antihistamines

This place was beautiful. Historic building, beautifully renovated and clean. We got a Jacuzzi suite and enjoyed our stay immensely. It was within walking distance to The Ritz where we saw a performance, there's a few restaurants in and around the location, and it was very comfortable. My only complaints are the bed is very firm, and you hear pretty much everything from the rooms around you, the hallways, and even the traffic and people outside.

Stayed there for a corporate meeting, really like the hotel. Called the following week. Hello, my name, Ect. I’m with the company ect,. I would like to check in Tues and out Thursday this week, can I reserve a room and can you tell me my company’s already agreed upon corporate rate price just so I know. Long pause, I can’t find your corporate rate, so I’m going to have to put you in a regular priced room. Did you say you are checking in Thursday?
