the ambiance of this place in addition to the absolutely amazing food is a definite 5 star facility! Absolutely gorgeous inside. The old detail is stunning. I love that they refinished the old and didn’t replace it with new things. Just gorgeous! The staff was super nice as well.
Everything we ordered was fantastic. Our only suggestion would be that the dinner come with a side salad. Those cost extra-we ordered it but didn’t get it (that was okay-we ordered appetizers for the table as well)

The building is kind of interesting but the place is now closed permanently until some other fool thinks they can make a living off it. I was told it experienced a fire, but I did not see any evidence of that on the outside of the building.

Previously, the food was way over-rated, disappointed after seeing other people's rave reviews about it. Service was good, no problem there, but food was less than satisfactory. I arrived after it opened, ordered immediately, no other customers, app took over 20 mins, partly cold and imo stingy on the protein. Main plate took 45 mins total, got the impression they were waiting for me to order a second drink before serving.. One item on plate was cold, the other burnt, another left in the deep fryer too long, meat was not tender. Overall I'd label it one step above average bar food. Not nearly worth what I paid. If you're not picky, I'd say go for atmosphere and drinks, but not for the food. Oh, but the wine was really good.

Absolutely great place. First time here. Loved their burgers..the fries with the burgers were so fresh & crispy..(I ate them all).. The Beer mussels were delicious.. crab stuffed mushrooms were awesome but be careful, the mushrooms are hot! The price for all of it including my raspberry drink was a bit over 40$.... well worth it.

My girlfriend, pup and I decided to stay here while seeing Cherry Springs state park. We checked in on Sunday, with self check in, and it went smoothly. We were able to park right outside for free. The room we chose was surprisingly large, high ceilings, smart tv, and a really comfy king bed. For the value I would recommend this place. The bottom floor is a restaurant we didn’t get to try. You can hear the outside traffic because the walls are a little thin but overall a great stay.

Was in town late Friday night for work. We got there 15 minutes before the kitchen closed in their Taproom, but we still got served. Was not expecting such a great menu; my wife and I both got steaks. There was also a pool table and live music. It's a really neat and historic property, and there was obviously a lot of money put into restoring it. They are super dog friendly and the accommodations are on point.

The owner, Chandra, was wonderful and made herself available via cell phone 24/7. My wife had left a pair of pants in the room and they are mailing them back to us on their dime. We cannot wait to go back later in the year when the weather is warmer and we have more time to spend there. Highly recommend.

We brought out kid out for the Cherry Springs Night Viewing for their birthday. We’ve never been to this area of PA so we had no idea what to expect. Though it was cloudy skies, the hotel and restaurant made it worth it. We asked for some balloons and they went above and beyond. The restaurant food is perfect. I can imagine it having a long wait during their peak time. Super easy check in/out and very cute rooms. It’s located in the middle of town, which is also very cute. Thank you to all the staff for making it a memorable trip.

STAY HERE! when I called they stated they were booked and honestly that’s totally understandable but she called me back and said they had a last minute cancellation and a room was available!!!! How sweet is she? I am so thankful she called us because this room was amazing and they’re pet friendly! say less! This room was stunning! it was clean, comfortable and classy as hell. The food down stairs was incredible! the hotel has charm and a total win for us. The owner has got to be one of the sweetest women i’ve ever met. She was so helpful, accommodating and every time I saw her she was working. she was there when we went to bed and there when we left. The paranormal activity we heard was a bonus. She knew her stuff and we’ll definitely be back.

UPDATE: As of February or March of this year or last year, The Crittenden will not reopen due to too much damage from the fire and water damage from fire fighters putting out the blaze. I will miss the great friendly people who worked there and their great food!!!! I gave them 5 stars to let them know that we all are here for them!!! Merry Christmas to the owner and staff of the Crittenden!!!!
