I reached out to Tonya in May 2023 for a wedding date in October 2024. We spent 18 months getting to know each other, phone calls every month, check up texts just to see how I'm doing and handling everything, she really became a friend throughout the whole process. I originally contacted Tonya just for rentals (centerpieces, stages, linens, etc.), but shortly after, I added her on as my wedding planner and week of coordinator. When I tell you her and her team were such a blessing. Setup and takedown were quick and efficient, I know I had her running all over the place the day of but she did it proudly and she did it gracefully and I'm so thankful I had her by my side! When I fell ill before the reception, she kept the boat sailing smoothly and helped me recover, with no one the wiser. She handled all of the contact between my vendors so I didn't have to lift a finger, she coordinated the band/dj setup times, the cake drop off. She took care of sending food and cake to our hotel room so we wouldn't miss out on anything. I have nothing but high praises and love for Tonya. She not only made my wedding day so so special, but she made sure to take care of me every day leading up to it (and with 18 months, that's a lot of days!).💙

Tonya was absolutely AMAZING to work with! We were worried about planning our wedding from out of state since we would be getting married in Pittsburgh but were not living there in the moment. From the first moment I talked to Tonya during our introduction call, I knew that working with her would be an amazing experience. I wanted someone who would work with me in terms of flexibility, and provide and genuine and enjoyable wedding experience, and that is exactly what it was like working with Tonya. It was like working with a close friend who really wanted to make sure that your wedding day was all about you and what you wanted. Tonya worked with our working schedules for regular meetings, flying out to Pittsburgh for tastings, getting photos of our venue, everything! She worked with us to stay within our wedding budget, and made it easy to work with all of the tools we needed to plan things virtually. The day of the wedding came together beautifully, and we had very little to worry about on the day of the wedding knowing that Tonya and her team were on it! We were also able to rent some of our decorations and furniture for the day of the wedding from Tonya and her team. I truly loved working with Tonya, she made the planning process fun and engaging, and even more - she held us accountable to get everything done on time. I'd considered planning most of the wedding myself but I am glad that I did not. Working with Tonya was a breeze. I rented linens from her for a bridal shower and they were fantastic! She delivered them perfectly pressed and added in extras just in case, outside of what I requested. Drop-off was easy as well and I had multiple people come up to me at the shower and ask for her information for their events as well. Highly recommend working with her on any of her services. I cannot express how grateful I am to have found and met Tonya. A bit of background information: My dad and I had planned what we thought was the perfect graduation party for my mom, a physician, graduating from her Surgery Residency Program at AGH. Just two weeks prior to the party we had been planning for 9 months, the “host” of the party completely backed out on us without any warning. We were panicking, as we had family and friends flying in from all over the country to attend this fabulous weekend we had planned, and less than 2 weeks to replan a party that the guests and, most importantly, my mom, would love. I spent hours emailing venues and searching for a plan B, to no avail. That is when I found Tonya through a good old fashioned Google search. I honestly thought she would laugh and tell me what I was afraid to be true, that we couldn’t make this work in less than 2 weeks. To my surprise, she was 100% ready to take on our party, and she even knew exactly who I was talking about when I told her about our original “host” cancelling on us. Tonya was incredibly kind and handled the situation with such confidence. Within hours she had us in contact with one of (if not THE) top people of the Gateway Clipper Fleet. I told Tonya that I had emailed and called them a few days prior and had not heard back from them. I couldn’t believe she was able to get us in contact with exactly who we needed the same day I had called her. Tonya facilitated a dinner cruise for all of our guests and made sure that my dad and I were able to give my mom the graduation party she deserved. I cannot thank Tonya enough for handling our crazy situation with such ease, and for making us feel as though we had been friends with her our entire lives. She truly does have the best connections! I will try to attach photos from the party in the comments, but needless to say, our guests were thrilled and my mom got the party she deserved after her long journey to becoming a surgeon. Tonya went above and beyond to help us pull off our special day. We live in New Orleans so planning a wedding in Pittsburgh to be closer to my husband’s family required a lot of help. We also work long hours. Tonya had so much patience with us but kept us completely on track. Even though our wedding was small (30 guests), she made each part of the day so special. From helping us incorporate parts of our life in New Orleans, to making sure our guests arrived and made it home safely, to a penguin visit and planning an after party event, Tonya made it all happen. I hired Tonya and her team for a corporate event that I had to set up as an event coordinator and it was over the top amazing!!! It was one for memory books, something my daughter will never forget. Tonya and her team made the entire process flawless and stress-free, with a great DJ that had everyone dancing all night.
