Stopped by on 6/8/24 to check the shop out. The guys there were awesome! I learned some new techniques, bought some flies, and a map of some great fishing spots to check out!

Awesome shop and awesome people. This past week we did a full day guide trip. Absolute incredible trip over 15 fish with some really nice ones mixed in! Our guide “Logan the Kid” was outstanding. Very easy going and extremely knowledgeable. Failure was not an option coaching us through the day. We will certainly be back!

Swung in here on 12/10/24. Spent a good hour in the shop talking and picking out flies. Really a great shop with my than you think in inventory. Stellar service. I can't wait to go back to penns creek in the spring just to visit the shop again!

My husband and I stopped in this fly shop last week after attempting to go to another shop that was closed. We were so glad to find this shop open! It was one of the nicest fly shops we have ever visited. We learned a lot from Logan and he pointed us to some cold water streams since Penns creek was a little to warm to fish. We bought some recommended flies, and we're able to land some trout later that day including our first brookies! Thank you Logan, and we will definitely be visiting this shop the next time we are in central PA!

The proof is in the net, but when you combine the comfortable bed & breakfast and the well-stocked fly shop with Jonas and his orbit of passionate staff, the Feathered Hook stands tall as a top national jumping off point for catching wild trout on the fly.

I was brought to the Hook on a business outing a few years ago and it reconnected me with the kind of trout fishing I hadn't experienced since my youth in New Mexico.

The guides are worth every penny. I recommend fishing with all of them at least once to experience Penns Creek from different professional perspectives, and these guys are pros, no doubt about it.

I am a big fan of the Feathered Hook and highly recommend it for serious fly fisherman, including couples and families.

Very knowledgeable staff who are engaging and patient with more novice anglers like myself. Spent a couple of days with 2 different guides (Matt and Blaine), both worked so well with my daughter (10) who had never fly fished before. They made sure we had a great time and seemed almost as proud as I was whenever she landed a fish. We come back year after year and will continue to do so. Cannot recommend them all enough!

Such a terrific business. I am mot a great fisherman, but by the end of the day, Our guide taught me a great deal while making the day one to remember. Matt is very professional, but fun at the same time. He does the little things to make sure your day is all about fishing, not worried about anything else. I highly recommend Matt and the rest of the crew at The Feathered Hook!

A buddy and I just did a guided trip with Matt. He was fantastic. Well worth the $ for the local knowledge. The shop had all sorts of great gear and it's not easy to tell from google maps, but they also have a very affordable B&B. Great place all around!
