I recently had my first ever ballooning experience thanks to a gift card from our employees for Sky's the Limit. My wife and I had an exceptional trip! Going up in a hot air balloon could potentially be an intimidating proposition. But, Kevin and his crew were exceedingly professional and immediately put us at ease. He is obviously a master pilot, with years of experience. It was his passion and knowledge of his art that really shown through the whole ride. Not only was the trip a beautiful journey, we felt entertained and educated by Kevin and his depth of knowledge. Kevin is a top notch pilot! My husband and I had an amazing ride this morning around Happy Valley. We had been cancelled twice before due to wind and/or fog. But Kevin wants to keep everyone safe, so I understood. Today was perfect! I can't recommend The Sky's the Limit Ballooning enough!

What a great trip! Flew across State College (started in Pleasant Gap and ended beyond the west side of State College). Much better view and fun atmosphere than you get from inside an airplane. Kevin the pilot and his on-ground assistant Bob were considerate and outgoing and made everyone feel at home. They really set the atmosphere and conversation was great. People in the basket above State College were myself, Kevin, and a few other first-time passengers.

Another reviewer mentioned frustration with scheduling......I did indeed have to try a few times to get this ride scheduled, but I would not have it any other way. I want a pilot who is conscious of safety beforehand, on the ground, so that up in the air the ride is smooth and your thoughts are not on safety concerns. I will say that scheduling was easier for me (I said I could fly any morning, I was "on call") than for someone trying to plan for an exact weekend.
