We stayed in Endless weekends cabin. It was disgusting. Mice, kitchen floor was all sunken in and filthy, smelled like mold throughout, absolutely no cell phone service at all even though they tell you there is . It has an extra cabin for kids to sleep in. I wouldn’t let a dog sleep in. Animals up in the roof of cabin /shack scratching all night long . The restaurant on site was horrible. Dead mouse in the bathroom. Took two hours to get food NEVER AGAIN DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS DUMP

We stayed in the Chipmunk Crossing cabin, which was incredibly cute and cozy. There were 2 small lofts in addition to the main bedroom, but the small cabin was ideal for us as a couple for a weekend getaway. Everything seemed clean and orderly, and the kitchen came fairly well stocked with dishes and utensils you may need. We cooked dinner on the grill, though the oven didn't seem to get hot enough when we tried that. Not a huge deal, we reported that when we left so maintenence can look into it for the next guest. But the campground itself is quiet, which I truly appreciated. Staff all seemed friendly, and the grounds looked well maintained. Overall I think it is a lovely little spot tucked into the forest, and we really enjoyed it there!

We always enjoy our stay at Happy Acres! The staff is always helpful and friendly! The pool is always refreshing after a day of activities. And the food at the restaurant is good. Good place to get a good dish of ice cream at the store as well. They pretty much have all the essentials at the store. And there's a gameroom for the kids also.

I stayed in Raccoon Ridge with my dog. Upon arrival, the manager seemed annoyed with me for arriving, and the owner yelled directions to my cabin at me from behind the counter, and scolded me for not being able to read a map. I hadn’t even asked for directions, and I can a map! |I had to return to the office to get a key as it was not unlocked with the key on the table. Fridge was dirty but the rest of the cabin seemed clean. The fire pit was in terrible condition. I managed to get it into a usable condition. The worst is the camper that is right on top of the fire pit. It dominates the view outside the pit. It ruins the view from the beautiful A frame style picture window and makes it feel not very private at all.|I visited the office again looking for firewood and was given a lecture about softwood firewood and hardwood firewood, something I already knew and wasn’t asking about. Overall I found the owner and manager to be unpleasant, unwelcoming, and impolite. The sites are right on top of each other. You can do better elsewhere.

Happy Acres is definitely our happy place! We have a seasonal/permanent site and we go up just about every other weekend, and more often if we can.

We started camping here once a year around 2019. In 2023 we signed the contract for our site and haven't looked back!

The manager couldn't be more accommodating and friendly! The campground is very clean, grass is mowed, and the bathrooms are very clean (despite some other comments I read). Our son and family stayed in a cabin this weekend and it was perfect! A/C was on and it was comfortably cool inside when they arrived. The cabin was very clean (our DIL also remarked how clean it was). They did say the mattress was hard, but you could stay in a 5 star hotel and the bed won't feel like your bed at home. Since the interior is wood, there is a faint wood smell but it's definitely not musty as Amy mentioned.

Cable can be spotty and if you want reliable internet you should bring a hotspot or sit at the Wi-Fi spot near the office, but it's camping folks! Get outside. Enjoy the basketball court or play Frisbee golf, walk your dogs, get some ice cream at the store, or just enjoy a campfire. There's so much to do in the area...hike the many trails, walk or bike the Pine Creek Rail Trail, paddle or kayak the Little Pine Creek, and just enjoy the "True Mountain Experience"!

What a great place! Our cabin was clean. The check in and out process was easy. They have a wonderful tavern / restaurant as well. The food was excellent. The nearby park and creek were just beautiful. Lived the PA grand canyon, about 30 min away, too. We will be back!
