Old Order Amish Tour made our December '24 Pennsylvania trip worth every penny. The amount of knowledge that Kathy has about the Old order Amish community and the way she planned the tour made it comfortable for us. We had a rainy day yet we enjoyed every bit of it. We had a wonderful time on Kathy’s tour. She was informative and interesting and the travel approach (following her in our own car) worked fine. Tim (our tour guide) was super funny, knowledgeable and friendly ~ you can tell he loves what he does!! We enjoyed our chats with the Amish people working around the farm (especially Katelyn and Isaac). So worth visiting and learning about how the, kind and humble, Amish live!!

Kathy’s tour was amazing! Worth every penny. We visited two Amish homes. We got to talk with the lady of the house at both. We toured a barn. We saw and discussed various crops. We shopped at a local Amish market. We saw an Amish school and a Minnenite church. Kathy narrated the entire drive via a two way radio. She was patient and answered all our questions. I enjoyed it. So did my wife and kids. Great tour for any age!

We stumbled onto a brochure and was pleasantly surprised at the value of our tour. $65 for our family of four to follow the tour guide for 1.5 hours. She communicated with us by 2 way radio and talked to us the entire time about the culture of the Amish. We learned SOOO MUCH! We were taken off the main roads and to the heart of the Amish community. We were allowed to go into two families homes and have conversation with the families. My 9 year old enjoyed the barn and getting to see the carriage up close. I really enjoyed learning more about their way of living and the views were breathtaking. My 16 year old came alive when we saw the things that they made with their hands. We got to go to a market and the prices were unreal. This tour saved us a lot of money on our souvenirs. Cathy was such a delight. I’ll be telling everyone visiting Lancaster about this tour company. This was the highlight of our three day weekend!

This is the Best tour in the area. If you are looking to learn and understand the Amish way of life this is the only tour to take. I have taken other tours in the area. Have left disappointed. Kathy is the most knowledgeable guide I have ever had. My husband has never been to Amish Country. He was looking to learn all there is to know about these hard working people. Kathy explained in detail and answered all of his questions. We recommend this tour over any others in the area. We will be back to tour with Kathy every time we are in the area.
