I have used Sylvester's for the past 20 years. I have had no problems. When I have called,. I have always been taken care of in a kind, polite & timely manner. Several years ago, I had elderly neighbors & I watched Sylvester employees put their trash can back by their garage, so that they didn't have to walk out by the roadway. A+ customer service in my book!!

The lady that answers the phone and goes over everything should not be on the phone with customers. Four phone calls and only the initial conversation was polite. I have never had such poor customer service. They don’t put container sizes on their invoices, tell you that they’ve told you specifics that they do not and if you have any follow up questions plan on being talked down to or told you’re wrong, even if you have measurement’s and pics. Got two stars for on time delivery and fair prices.

We have been dealing with Sylvester's for about 2 months now for our business and I am very happy with their service. Once I call them for a switch out they are usually here within 48 hours. They are flexible to work with as far as scheduling goes, and fees are as I expected. Also, very courteous on the phone, as well as helpful. On a professional level, they are 5 stars!

Lady that answers phone is rude and unprofessional. If she doesn't like what you called about she gets lippy and yells you "too bad". Haven't picked up my trash for 3 weeks now. Still beside toad but now sticks and the heavy rain allowed for excess weight in bags. Plus have an infestation of flies and maggots now by my steps. I'd not recommend this service to anyone!

The woman who answers the phone is obviously tired of her occupation. She's rude, she's also defensive. Which leads me to believe she is behind the "easy target up-charge" with the can...However, it's business not personal..which I understand and am ok with. However other businesses like to do things is up to them.
Ok, so here it is...WE spend THOUSANDS of dollars on dumpsters annually... I won't spend MY dollars with these folks. If they replaced HER specifically.. I'd use them again..It's her PERIOD not the driver, not the customer, not anyone else... it's ALL HER.

The gentleman who pick up in New Bloomfield do a great job. They are good enough to leave my empty can upright and with the lid on..which I am sure takes extra time. In other towns outside of Perry County, I see trash receptacles thrown at the curb. I am happy with their service.
