Terrible. We paid over priced for tickets for our daughter to go on this school trip. Then they got the absolute worst flights. We need to pay for a UK visa due to a terrible layover. Plus over night stay in a hotel far away from the airport. And now our kids arrives on Mothers day in the middle of the day. Do not use this company.

Our daughter experienced a life threatening event minutes into her first full day on senior class trip to Disney World in March 2025 that nearly changed our family forever. Andrew from World Class Vacations reached out to me as soon as he was notified of the situation. He offered to help in any way possible with travel/lodging for my wife and I to get from Philadelphia area to Orlando. Andrew continued to reach out to me nearly everyday for updates regarding the situation with our daughter. When we were finally through the critical zone and ready to get home, World Class Vacations made all the arrangements to get us home in the best manner possible and even checked in when we landed in Philadelphia. There are not enough ways to express our gratitude to the entire team of World Class Vacations. We can’t thank you enough for treating us like family during this experience. We highly recommend them for travel and vacation planning. We certainly will be using them in the future.

WorldStrides - DC Trip Experience

Kids loved it, it was a first time experience to be on their own. The local arrangement at DC right from bus, to field trips were good.
Two main improvement points,
1. When 4 kids are given a hotel room, please ensure they are decently sized. There were 1 or 2 guest in bigger room compared to the 4 guest. Kids need to be spaced out and unfortunately this was not well thought.
2. I would have really appreciated if the kids had water in the room as well. They are in a day long activity and come ba
ck to the room tired, they need water to quench the thirst :).

I booked with this business because of my daughter's dance school. I thought it was directly through Disney which I quickly learned it's not. BUYER BEWARE. Their cancellation policy is basically whatever you pay nothing will be refunded. I had to cancel and they told me I can reinstate. Once I did because I didnt reinstate all my family members only to be told that I lose more money since I don't have the same number of people. I paid in $700 but can only use $400 of what I already paid. They have been reported to BBB many times by many people for the same reason. The prices they charge are well above what Disney actually charges. And they will not allow your child to participate unless the whole family is booking the room through them. I know all businesses are in the business to make money, but I appreciate businesses that don't focus on ways to screw people out of more money.

***NOTE*** Someone from the company replied to me, but please note, NOTHING HAPPENED! No one has called me or emailed me to try to help us. All this below comment turned out to be was so much more smoke designed to make readers think that all that happened to me was a mistake, or a one time thing. The fact that no one gets back to me every just demonstrates how uncaring and unprofessional they are.

It was very nice to see all the "good" reviews, but I now know there are the bad ones out here. Sadly, my school learned the hard way just how poorly this company is run. My school is a very low income school, but I was able to secure a promised donation of $25,000 to take as many students as that would allow. That along with a number of smaller donations would have allowed 14 students to travel. However, the company could not pay till after the new year, so my parents were forced into horrible payment arrangements to insure their student's place on the trip. When January came along, the donation company pretty much ghosted us, and the donation melted away. We tried other methods to try to make it, but nothing worked. Worldstrides was sympathetic saying all the right things, but when it came down to it, they did NOTHING to help. Instead, they wanted my parents to send their 12 and 13 year old students on the trip since a few had paid. Since I wouldn't have enough students going, my trip was now going to be $2500, and I could no longer afford to go. The company expected the parents to send these kids to Washington DC all alone! It was insane. But they won't cancel the trip! We have all begged them to cancel, and since I'm the teacher canceling that should have been it, but it isn't.

Then things get worse. The company will not let me speak to a supervisor in any capacity. You cannot email anyone except a generic customer service email and they won't answer me. The only person I can speak to does not have the authority to help us. So where do we stand? Today I messaged the CEO of that company on Linkedin! I had to take out a premium membership to do it but it was worth it because of few hours later someone emails me lying that he had tried to call me. And all he does is tell me to call the person that can't help me. What a racket.

And the sales people lie to you! They talk about this amazing family owned business. Well, its not. Its in fact traded on the stock market so they used deceptive practices to get us all to sign up which in itself should make any contract null and void! This is a horrible company and I blame myself for getting my students' parents involved. But with my last breath I will be shouting at any teacher's conference or convention these people dare to poke their heads letting their next victims know in advance what they are in for.

My best advice! Don't travel with Worldstrides! There are other options out there.

I have been a long-time (9 years by my count) customer and WCV enthusiast! They have offered reasonably priced, well-planned and life-changing culinary events for students for many years, and I cannot recommend them enough. Rob, Matt, Arielle, Amanda, Brooke, Joleene, Andrew and their ENTIRE staff continuously goes above and beyond for their travel groups. I highly recommend using their services to all teachers looking to have a fun and impactful class/student trip!

Our Disney vacation package through our dance studio was overpriced and disorganized. Also, when myself, and others asked for a one week extension on a payment we were denied. I can understand the denial. However, the rude comments from the representatives were extraordinarily insensitive. We did make the payments and attend the trip . After much research and calculations, we all realized how excessively we paid because of our booking through this agency. The arrangements for the trip we disorganized and many families were left making last minute arrangements just to see our children dance , which was the entire purpose of the trip. This agency would benefit from some lessons in sensitivity and customer service.

I had six culinary arts students compete in Disney’s Cook Around The World Culinary Improv Competition at Epcot’s World Showplace in Orlando, Florida. We worked with Brooke Lauchnor with World Class Vacations by WorldStrides. Much like the Food Network’s show “Chopped”, we had 90 minutes to prepare a main dish and a side using the items from a mystery basket to represent a randomly assigned continent. We opened our mystery basket to find a whole chicken, zucchini, rice, and fresh sage that had to be used in our dish. The continent we were assigned to represent was North America and the students worked together to make Tex-Mex BBQ chicken enchiladas and a zucchini coleslaw. We also met celebrity chef Anne Burrell and chef Mickey Mouse! We truly had an amazing time and can't wait to be back next year!
