I had the pleasure of staying at the Batesville location for several weeks after my home was struck by lightning. I was also in a leg brace from a knee injury.
The staff went out of their way to make sure my stay was as comfortable and welcoming as possible.
Because it was such an extended stay, I had the good fortune of interacting with all levels of staff.
Always greeted with a smile. Happily brought me extra towels and pillows so I could prop up and ice my knee 2x daily. They helped me whenever needed.
Room was clean. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Enjoyed the Dove bath products and updated bathroom.
Breakfast bar has a good selection.
The indoor pool and hot tub were always clean. As was the changing area. Plenty of pool towels available.
Nice workout room and always clean.
Freshly baked cookies and free bottled water daily for all their guests.
I now make a point to stay here, always requesting the same room, for a night or two every couple of months just to get away, have a nice swim, and enjoy some downtime.
Plenty of parking. Well lit.
No restaurant on site, but several family restaurants nearby. Also pizza and Mexican delivery.
Quiet and safe area of town.
I'll definitely be back in a few weeks!

This hotel is worn out unfortunately, floors and room are uneven, walls, carpet, and furniture need replaced and simply not being kept up. Scratches and dents on walls, missing hairdryer and hotel room and parking very limited. staff was nice.

Friendly desk agent. The hotel was clean. It is a shame that one feature basically ruined my stay. An exterior door to the lobby was broken and every time someone would go in or out, it would slam very hard and shake the wall of my hotel room late at night then I was awakened at 5 AM with the door slamming. The door needs to be repaired.

This place gets 2 stars because we were in room 116. Everytime someone came in the doors we could hear it. Also the ceiling was so thin it sounded like loud thumping coming from above us. There is also not much to say about their breakfast. Their egg is fake, their biscuits and gravy was TANGY and their sausage was burt. Your best bet is their flat pancakes! The only good food they had was the free cookie, and it wasn't that great. If you stay here, don't do it for the breakfast and don't stay on the first floor!

Positive: The rooms are clean, the bed is comfortable, the staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast is ok. Negative: The biggest problem with this hotel is the floors. They make a ridiculous amount of noise when you walk. The cabinet shakes and adds to the noise. We could hear every move the people in the room above us made as they walked across the floor. Convenient location for the trip, refused a half hour later checkout time though they approved our friends that also got a room. Had somebody above us stomping around being loud all through the night, people knocking on our door early trying to rush us out. Overall wouldn't pick this location again. The breakfast was fantastic however so I'll add a star for that.

Great service, everyone was very friendly. The town is cute and all of the locals were very welcoming and friendly. I booked another hotel down the street overbooked the reservation and all the others in town were booked up, but the Holiday Inn team squeezed us into their last room!
