whoever hired yesdi in the math learning center made the right decision. that is a person who cares about students' success. he has a deep understanding of mathematics and is able to impart that knowledge onto others. he has personally helped me through calc 1, 2, and 3. i wish he was a professor because that guy genuinely has a knack for explaining concepts in math in the most efficient way possible. he doesnt just tell you how to compute, but rather uses examples and proofs (in a way thats easy to understand) to really drive the point home. we are #teamyesdi in this house. i cant give enough thanks to the man who has ensured my success here at tcc.

Thinking about returning to school! Choose TCC-Trinity River it is a atmosphere to learn, great study areas, the professors want to see students succeed and they put a great deal of energy in their students. Parents don't hesitate for students looking for a 2 year degree or if you want to change careers. Go for it....wonderful environment and this girl loves, Downtown Fort Worth. Visit and apply end of story....

I don’t understand for all those people with that knowledge why would you put a school campus across the street from a jail? This has to be the worst campus ever if you want to make it to your classes on time, you have to be there 30 minutes before your classes even starts to possibly get the correct parking spot.

Business services and financial aid department deserve a 0. Complete waste of time and energy. Do not apply here if you are a veteran or you are a older person of color. I have had the worst experience dealing with financial aid and business services they have no idea how to process a payment through out side grants and funding. I have spent the last few days in headaches and panic attacks. They will gladly drop your classes 3 times. I had a really bad experience with both offices. If they are ran this poorly then how is the running of the school. I was left with a bad taste in my mouth with all the disfunction which took hours and days to hear back from anyone. I have texts and emails to prove all of my claims. I was really looking forward to attending and thought it would be a great program and opportunity to learn different things. Do your research and find another school plenty of schools that actually want students and to help them to achieve their goals. How I was treated I should be filling a claim for discrimination.

I went to this school 8 years ago exploring the study of nursing and had an amazing experience. I have returned to continue my education and I have no idea what happened. Its so terrible now.

I have showed up 3 times to an advising appointment, and I have been stood up 3 times. They tell me its technical issues from a new program they are using. They insulted me and accused me of not reading the instructions. I quickly corrected them that following the instructions resulted in a blank screen. I work in the technology field, it is absurd how they have this whole thing set up. They are having go to a general open meeting room in teams via our browser. On top of that, they use an old version of teams even though they JUST now transitioned to it. I have never had any business or institution use teams in such an inefficient way.

When a phone appointment was set up the call went straight to voicemail 10 mins late from when the appointment should have began. I was left a message saying the advisor is working from home, so I wont be able to call them back. They told me to tell the front office to tell them to call me again within 15 mins, because they will be moving on to their next appointment soon. Only their front office was not picking up. Maybe if the advisor had contacted me on time there would have been more time to figure this out.

If this is how TCC conducts their communication, I have extremely low expectations of how any online courses or distance communication works these days. Rather than jump through hoops to avoid doing this again, I am better off going to one of the other local colleges like DCCCD.

My first time up there and I gotta say, I am impressed! The people were sweet and patient. Very good quality and personality. I quite look forward to my time with them. Also, if you like quiet and calm, the best day to go to the campus is Friday. Mondays - Thursdays are the busy times.
