We stayed the night for an amazing girls' weekend. The place was so quaint and the ornate details of the house were absolutely beautiful! The place was fully stocked and we had pretty much everything we needed. We enjoyed playing games, and had a lovely Thanksgiving dinner. The backyard and the water fountain were my favorite. So peaceful. Thanks for a great weekend!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Freedom Home in Columbia, PA. We recently got married and decided to gather with close family and friends. Justin & Whitney were wonderful host providing things to do in the area. Justin was very attentive and went over and beyond. This was our first intimate gathering as a married couple and this house was the perfect place! We fell in love with the decor and wonderful details that was put into the renovation of this home! We hope to visit again in the near future! ❤️

Our group of 9 adults stayed at the Freedom Home in Columbia, PA for a weekend in September 2024. This property has the WOW factor all around! Justin and Whitney could not be any more accommodating, helpful and kind. Their attention to detail from beginning to end is over the top. The pictures of this home do not do justice to the exquisite architecture, decor and overall feel. The home is elegant, spacious and comfortable.

Columbia is clean, the locals friendly and packed with so much history and charm. If you are in town on a Saturday go to the Columbia Market House. If you are as lucky as we were, you'll run into the town historian who took us below to see the dungeon. The vendors are locals and have wonderful merchandise. We went shopping, ate at the local breweries, went fishing and walked from the Freedom Home to Wrightsville (crossing the beautiful bridge).

The best part of our weekend was time spent around the large dining room table, eating lobster rolls from Maine, drinking wine, laughing and playing board games. And, of course, exploring the house. There are so many details and things to discover within the walls, including the hidden room!

Thank you so much Justin for sharing The Freedom Home with us. It is a time we will cherish for years to come. We look forward to returning.

We rented the most beautiful home across the river from Lauxmont Farms. This historic home built in 1876 was the perfect place to prepare for the wedding from the spacious dining room table to finish up all the last minute items on our checklist to the relaxing patio and garden to trim and fill all of the vases with the fresh cut flowers or just sit and relax. This home was filled with so many interesting and beautiful details. Our grandsons thought it was the coolest house ever. We would definitely love to come back and stay again when we can have time to explore the area. Turkey Hill Experience is close by which the boys loved when we took them there a couple of years ago. Our host Justin was so informative and accommodating even letting us check in early.

We had an absolutely magical stay at Freedom Home. The house itself was immaculate with intricate detail in every room. The decor was stunning as seen in the photos. We all agreed that the beds were perfectly comfortable. Each room had its own charm which I loved ! There was plenty of space to host a proper girls trip with endless games and seating area so that all of us were comfortable. We loved that the shops and dinning options were within walking distance to us. There were so many great antique shops, boutiques, and restaurants to discover. I truly can not wait to come back to discover even more hidden gems.

Loved our weekend getaway to Freedom Home with a group of ladies from our church! Very tastefully decorated and comfortable. Justin went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed & then some. Lots of cozy spaces and a beautiful yard to hang out in and get to know each other better. Can't wait to go back in the fall!

Our stay was absolutely perfect for my “getting ready” house before my wedding! We were able to have all the bridesmaids together in one spot to celebrate the night before then to get ready the morning of. The house itself is truly amazing, with all the thoughtful details and many spots throughout. We got STUNNING photos of all the important moments-getting into my wedding dress, first look with my dad and bridesmaids and bridal portraits. Given that it rained that day, it was still lovely light due to the gorgeous windows (the backyard is also beautiful and would have been a GREAT spot for photos!) Justin was so responsive from the moment we booked and all my “bride” panicked questions ahead of time he was kind and incredibly flexible to our requests. A surprise to be able to meet him in person for the tour! Incredible stay and I hope we visit again in the future!
