Kate did a fantastic job organizing our Christmas Market River Cruise on the Danube. I saw, on Facebook in October, that a spot had opened up on the 2024 Christmas Market Trip, I contacted Kate. She was so quick to respond and we were on a video conference with her that same day. She answered all our questions and got us signed up. Any time during the short 2 months before the trip that I had questions, I got a quick response. She sent out information and reminders frequently as we prepared. She held video group meetings prior to the trip so we got to know some of our fellow travelers in advance. It was wonderful having Kate along on the trip to help answer questions since this was our 1st River Cruise. She made sure everyone had what they needed and was having a great time. She and her assistants were a joy to be around. We loved everything about the trip. I had never heard of AmaWaterways and I am so excited Kate introduced us to this fabulous company. One of the highlights was going to see The Nutcracker at the Budapest Opera house. This was an activity Kate arranged prior to the actual cruise. Just another example of her going above and beyond. I would definitely recommend using Kate to plan your River cruise or any other activity she offers.

Just got back from Aruba! Chris is already booking the return trip for next year. He helped us find a low-key all-inclusive resort for this girls' trip. It was perfect for us--didn't have to walk far out of the pool to get a drink or a pizza, and the ocean was right there too. Chris was on top of everything letting us know that our plane was there, how to navigate the unique Aruban airport, where to go to get the sunset cruise and snorkeling adventures--just everything! I could not be more pleased with his oversight of the whole process. Here we go again Chris!

I would like to begin by saying that I highly recommend Kate and Kate’s World Travel for any of your planning/travel needs. It was by chance that we stumbled onto Kate’s World Travel website after a less than impressive encounter with a local travel company. That was the best move we could have made. Very loosely we were planning a river cruise down the Danube and wanted to pre-extend with a few days in Salzburg and Munich before boarding our ship in Nuremberg, Germany. We explained to Kate the sites we wanted to see, (Sound of Music, Salt Mines, Eagles Nest, Hallstatt and Dachau) and she managed to come up with tours/drivers and a schedule so that our wish list was fulfilled beyond measure. Kate also arranged our hotel stays in Salzburg and Munich, and besides being lovely hotels, they were centrally located so that we could walk to many of the sites in town. Kate also arranged for all our trains to/from the airport/Munich/Salzburg/Nuremberg. Our pre-cruise portion of our trip was flawless thanks to Kate’s expertise and attention to detail. The second part of our trip was a river cruise down the Danube, starting in Nuremberg and ending in Budapest. Kate recommended a lesser-known cruise company, Ama, and it was fantastic! There were issues with the Danube river flooding in areas and we could not sail, Ama redirected tours and it was a great trip. Kudos to Ama and crew for navigating guests and offering many alternatives to the original agenda. What made the cruise extra special was that Kate and her husband Chris were also on this cruise, and we enjoyed many evenings together dining, dancing and having a lot of fun. Before we docked and left the ship, my husband was already bending Kate’s ear about our next excursion to Ireland/Scotland. Thank you Kate and Chris, you certainly get a 5 star+ rating.

What a wonderful trip, everything was exactly as Kate had planned! It was wonderful to meet her assistant Noreen who had to actually travel 2 days from the Philippines to get there! The Nutcracker at the Opera house was Outstanding as were the fun and cold 🥶Christmas Markets The AMA Waterways boat was wonderful and we were the best decorated boat on the Danube. Food was outstanding as was our Pianist and entertainment that was brought on at different ports. And I can’t say enough about the wonderful crew!

Kate, I cannot thank you enough for your help in planning a wonderful trip. You were so helpful from the moment I contacted you. You listened carefully to our thoughts and answered all our questions. Your suggestions for hotels and tours were great. The hotels were genuinely nice and centrally located. Everything went as planned. Having that app "Trip Plans" was immensely helpful. We referred to the app and the Final Trip Itinerary PDF numerous times for details and suggestions. The zoom calls prior to the trip were invaluable. We are also happy you suggested AmaWaterways. The staff was top notch, and they did a fantastic job under difficult circumstances. Finally, we appreciated your communication with us during the trip. When questions arose, you responded quickly. We had a fabulous time. The trip would not have been such a success without your help. Maria and I have already told people about Kate’s World Travel. We cannot wait to work together again soon!
