Picked this hotel due to our regular hotel being fully booked where we like to stay. Checked in, and went to the room. Room had lots of stains, and then found bugs/roaches in room. Ladies were nice, but we left due to the situation. Wont stay again due to the bugs and cleanliness.

I never make a review while still in a hotel, but the girls that work here are so kind, and caring! We had to get off 81 North due to a horrible snowstorm. The girls welcomed us, upgraded us to a suite, and let our small dog stay. They normally do not allow pets, but accommodated us because of the storm. They also welcomed a family of 7, who also need to shelter from the storm. When they found out it was the little boys birthday, one of the girls who's birthday it is also, went in her office and came out with a birthday card! They are also going to have a pool party! The rooms are so clean and warm! Just when you thinks there is no kindness in the world, you come across these beautiful people!!

We would just like to say thank you to the country inn& suites for such a wonderful and excellent stay. The Lord Jesus brought us here through Tyson foods. Pottsville mixing DC is right next door. We had a most marvelous 4 days and the staff is absolutely amazing. From the general manager, assistant general manager, her daughter all the ladies that clean the rooms high five to Miss Sandy, and also Mikey whose real name is Joseph for cooking. For cooking, such a great Continental breakfast. Five stars. We just want to say thank you the Lord Jesus loves all of you.

Rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable. Staff is attentive and helpful. My only criticism is the quality of the breakfast provided. Poor ingredients.

It was a good place to pull off the highway and spend the night. I enjoyed the lobby, the free books (It is so much nicer than other chains).
The breakfast was decent, too!

We stayed here this weekend (Oct 18-20, 2024) and had a great time at this hotel. It's very clean, the breakfast was great and the overall experience was terrific! All staff were wonderful, I'd like to shout out to Susan, Renee and Bre! They went to extra mile and anticipated every need we all had. Amazing place and amazing staff! You all have what it takes and this is coming from business traveller who spent 30 years on the road! Thank you all so much, keep up the great work!

Great place to stay, clean, safe and great breakfast! The views are beautiful, the staff is kind and helpful- ask for Renee. I was able to get to Pottsville for all the fun and historical sites like Yuengling Brewery, great college campus of Penn State Schuylkill, The Station and Pottsville Diner.

Rooms are clean and staff is very hospitable and were quick to fix the few hiccups we did have. When we checked in, we were walked into a room that had not been cleaned yet. Turns out it was just a simple mix up on their part and when we got back from dinner our room was cleaned and management even left a kind note and snacks to make up for the inconvenience. Would definitely come back just for the customer sservice.These ladies are great!
