Fantastic brunch! Lovely, clean, elegant atmosphere with professional and friendly staff. We so enjoyed the expertly prepared pastries, avocado toast, and breakfast sandwich. Everything was perfectly delicious. An excellent choice for brunch in Austin!

I recently visited this restaurant for the first time, and it was an exceptional experience. From the moment we walked in, the service was top-notch—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. We started with the octopus, which was perfectly cooked: tender, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The fish dish that followed was equally impressive—fresh, delicate, and expertly prepared. Delightful establishment! Some of the neighbors are sitting on their porch, patting the shotgun laying across their lap, waiting for you to park at the wrong spot. In short, parking is tight. The drinks were home creations and actually quite nice! The mains were the salmon and the crab cake. It’s funny that we drove away from the sea to get better seafood! There’s a certain irony, but what can ya do. It’s so damn delicious! The crab cake on the picture is hiding behind the salad but don’t be fooled it’s a decent size, it was just shy 🙂

Josephine House is a nice and fancy breakfast spot in Tarry town. They have some nice pancakes and egg meals. They also have a tasty steak and egg plate I would recommend. They serve juices and have a pet-friendly location. They definitely add a nice and fancy touch to every plate.

First time going here, and it was an all-around lovely experience. The location inside and on the patio is open, pleasant, and welcoming. The staff was friendly and service was timely. The lox on hash browns, the shrimp and grits, and the cinnamon roll were all amazing! Not cheap, but I’d say appropriate for the location and quality.

I have been a few times in the last year and each time has been perfect. Friendly staff, nice options, seasonal changes, and Monday steak night which is very good. Here’s a few favorites from early April.

Nice atmosphere, tasty food and great service. The only drawback is that it was still very loud with only 12 people inside. It was difficult to have a conversation with someone across the 2 person table.

We had the pork chop schnitzel and duck, bacon apple salad. Great flavors in each. Both were able to be prepared dairy free and it was quite tasty.
