Very very cool spot. Easy to get to with a very well maintained gravel road. Definitely watch your step here there are no rails and it drops off very suddenly.

Beautiful view of the White River from the cliffside above. You do have travel a bit on a dirt road to access this spot.

There are no amenities there, barely even a tree to make a bit of shade.

That being said, someone abandoned a beautiful dog out there in the day(s) leading up to our visit and this poor pup was very dehydrated; finding shade leaned up on a shortish boulder, covered in fleas and also extremely hungry. I contacted local county officials/sheriff as well as all shelters within 40 miles. We ended up taking her with us, it was heartbreaking to consider leaving her there and we now have a second dog.

The view was phenomenal and easy to find plus the universe provided us a wonderful companion after my wife and I randomly picked this outlook to show the river to our kids.

That makes this a total 5 star visit

Beautiful spot, with a great view of the White river. There's a cool cliff face which has been defaced by graffiti.

Most of the graffiti tells you to jump off in different ways.

Don't be stupid and you'll be fine, but it is quite scary and dangerous if you are foolish.

WOW! If you are even on the way to Calico Rock from Mountain View you MUST take Culps Road to City Rock Bluff. The view is amazing!

City Rock Bluff was very beautiful! Views up and down White River. Be careful though there is no railing! You have to go down a gravel road to get to it and there are no signs, I don’t think anyway, but there is a huge outcropping of flat rocks on the right about 3 miles (guessing) down the road. Must see in Calico Rock!

Amazing view, sad to see the garbage, graffiti, and broken glass all over the area. If you visit here, be an awesome human and bring a trash bag, and take a load home with ya. Together, we can make a difference.
