My review is for the restaurant part, we didn't stay overnight. I had salmon and my partner had filet mignon - both were *excellent*. The lemon marscapone cake was delicious as well. Service was fantastic. I have to say tho that my favorite part was sitting in the dining room. What a great old building, restored so nicely. I absolutely loved the coziness. They had a Christmas tree and lit candles on the tables - all of it so lovely. The only thing that could have made it perfect was if the fireplaces were still working. We will definitely be back.

My review is of the hotel, not the restaurant.

Location is great, but this is an OLD building with THIN walls. You better hope that your neighbors are quiet and have the same hours as you. Bring earplugs and white noise.

Location can't be beat if you want to explore downtown or are there for the University. But this is an old hotel that hasn't been remodeled in decades.

I'm from out of town and was visiting family in the area. We made reservations at the Lewisburg Hotel for lunch and it was perfect! I needed a quiet location so my elderly family members could hear each other and the dining room was quiet. Our waitress, Cathy, provided excellent waitressing service. She also went above and beyond for me because I left my credit card in the receipt holder. She saw it there after we had left and removed it to keep it safe. When I called from out of state to ask if it was there, she offered to mail it to me. I received the card back in a few days which was greatly appreciated!

Update: new menu when I visited April 2025. Many more options!

Good place to go in Lewisburg occasionally. Their crab bisque soup is the best though. They really haven't changed their menu much in 20 years.

Commencement 2024. I booked late but the Inn Keeper had a cancelation and I took it sight unseen.||Beautiful Old Hotel, struggling since COVID to find staff.||The restaurant and bar are well run. Bucknell seniors dominate the late hours. Families and locals enjoying Mother’s Day and family celebrations.||The room was spacious and modest.||We were able to walk everywhere!

Second time staying at this motel. The first room was very basic with old TV (no HDMI input). If you are prone to migraines or like to take your DVD player with you, request a room with an updated TV. |Second stay- had newer TV (per request), but lacked a small refrigerator, coffee maker, and/or microwave. The room itself was relatively clean except the floor needed to be vacuumed. The bathroom has a closet type bifold door that doesn't properly close or offer privacy. The bathroom altogether needs a remodel. The flooring is coming up, caulking is a mess and the toliet looks like it hasn't been cleaned in a very long time. Also, there is no way to adjust the temperature in the room except for going to the front desk or bar, which both are closed on Sundays.|This place has much potential if some money is put towards the normal amenities that most motels/hotels offer.|Lastly, both rooms we've stayed in did not have any type of blackout curtains or blinds that worked.

I'd love to say amazing things about this place. The staff were exceptional. The location is exceptional. Walk anywhere you want. The courtyard is lovely. However the rooms are dated and shabby. They ARE clean. No amenities to speak of. Walls are thin. Our TV didn't work so we listened to the drunk couple in the next room fight You are paying for the location. Saying that, just know this isn't a contemporary hotel. (Room keys are just that, keys!)

In my most recent trip to Norry, and coming back from a family event in Harrisburg, I found myself famished. As I crossed the bridge, I decided to go straight instead of turning left for the local, classic fan favorite. I asked my loving wife if she wanted to grab a quick drink to unwind from a long day of travel and found myself at the hotel. Upon entering the restaurant/bar area, I was joyfully greeted by all of the wonderful staff. They recommended a delicious beer to quench our traveling thirst and offered up a menu. After much deliberation and suggestions, I settled on their wings and French fries. The sauce was tough to pick but we decided on honey BBQ as well as a side car of the sweet chili was the right way to go. Promptly, our order came out and off we went. Upon arriving at home, I quickly opened the carefully tended to package and began to devour some of the tastiest food. The sauces were outstanding and the wings were enormous. It was totally worth it. The honey BBQ sauce was a wonderful blend of sweet and savory and the sweet chili sauce had the right amount of heat that wasn't overpowering. The bleu cheese wasn't your usual. It had an eclectic buttermilk taste. Our Fresh cut fries lasted the trip home and had the right amount of time in the fryer. You can tell that the kitchen cared what they were serving their patrons. I highly recommend this classic establishment and I can not wait to return to enjoy more of their most fresh menu.
