A nice little place. Went with my sister for a family funeral. On the way the owner reached out to ask if we would mind changing the room we booked (1st floor 2 beds). Didn't bother us as long as we had a place to sleep, we didn't need the kitchen anyway. She gave us 2 separate rooms for the price that we paid for the one. Seemed fine to us. Upon arrival we saw that the 2 rooms were on the 2nd floor. I can not climb stairs. Which of course she didn't know. Contacted her and explained the problem. She then offered us a cottage room with 2 beds at no charge for our trouble. Very nice polite friendly person. The room was sufficient. Clean with comfortable beds. We were pleased with the experience and as a result left payment in the locked box. Can't say enough about the owner's pleasantness and accommodation.

Either the people giving five star reviews are lying or were high during their stay at the Pavillion. I tried staying there and it was dirty as hell. Pictures below are for proof and I don’t wanna hear some lie about how it’s typical in small town areas to have bugs and whatnot. Place is not clean and sanitary point blank period and when I brought these issues to the attention of the owner, she gaslit me about it. By the way, you’ll see in one photo of a dirty bunched up paper towel are dead bugs and bug feces from the refrigerator and freezer from unit 13. This review better not be taken down cause I will keep posting it if I need to. Update: I had not checked the review I made three days after I posted this and my response to Margie’s updated response she herself has made is this; six is not many considering that you even admitted to looking at my profile and have clearly seen not just negative but also positive reviews as well Like how 66 reviews for you are not hundreds. On top of that, looks like someone is obsessed with me. Otherwise, one would not feel the need to give more than one response to my review so looks like you need a therapist more than I do but I get it though. I have that effect on people.

Margie the owner gave us an amazing amount of personal attention when we leaving for our 20th anniversary celebration trip when there was a snowstorm in the area of the hotel. Since the power was out the first night at the Pavilion we had a reservation for, she very kindly made a reservation for us at a nearby hotel. Then the second night we stayed at the Pavilion at the Park. Everything was great there and I especially liked how quiet and peaceful it was for our stay. I highly recommend staying there!

Lovely inn near Worlds End and Ricketts Glen State Parks. There was no property manager on-site, but we had good communication by phone (mostly texts) with them. I thought she said we would be getting a mini-cabin but ended up with room 4 in the main house on the 2nd floor. Large, quiet and very clean room with a bit of a valley view out back. The property is also very well kept and had nice "homey" fall decorations. The town of Laporte is small but had a pizza/Italian restaurant. We didn't eat there but spoke with someone who worked there. He was friendly and gave us advice on where to have breakfast the next morning in a nearby town of Dushore, (10 minute drive). We drove to Dushore the following morning and ate at The Jolly Trolley cafe which was so charming, like a movie set out of the 1950's. Overall I would easily stay at Pavillion in the Park again based on value, cleanliness and room.

Booked a stay in rooms 11 and 12 ,both spotless clean, well stocked kitchen with usable cookware. So comfortable and nice that I stayed an extra night. The little town was peaceful, I felt safe and enjoyed taking evening walks with my dog around the whole area. The host ,Marjorie, and staff were very accommodating and made my stay there a very pleasant one.

I loved it! Quiet, friendly, clean - a really great place to just get away! The manager was very personable and helpful, the room was comfortable and cozy - much less sterile than most hotels. I’m definitely going back in the future!
