We absolutely love this little jewel. Just far enough away from all the hubbub, but closer enough to downtown Norfork, Calico Rock, Mountain Viewa nd Mountain Home to enjoy all of the local delights. It's beautiful and peaceful but still offers so much. Kim and Kevin are the most thoughtful hosts. We will be back time and again!

A true hidden gem! More than I can describe, the river is a short walk down the drive, enjoyed the bug free screened in back deck and hot tub. CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN! All furnished, dishes, linens, even stove, fridge, dishwasher, small grill and some spices. Completely worth every cent & can't wait to come back & bring friends & try out another cabin. Stayed in the Eagles nest.

What an amazing experience my family and I had staying at the Riverisde Retreat and fishing with Chris. He's a very knowledgeable guide and the boys thoroughly enjoyed their trips with him. He didn't disappoint! The boys caught Loafs of fish and had an amazing time. I can't say enough kind words about our time there and Chris and Carol's hospitality! The property is peaceful and quaint - just a perfect get-away all around. We will definitely go back.

My husband and I just returned from a weekend stay at Riverside Retreat. The pictures do not speak to the relaxing atmosphere of this place. It was so peaceful and cozy - just what we needed. We went into norfork a couple of times and the people were extremely friendly. I highly recommend this place if you are needing a break from the fast pace of life. I also recommend a guided fishing trip with Chris. He was great and is very knowledgeable of the sport!!!

We stayed over Mother’s Day weekend and it was a great experience! The owners/staff were very friendly and even let us arrive earlier than expected. Our cabin had a hot tub, which we really enjoyed, especially in the evening after the kids were sleeping and it was raining outside. There were tons of family friendly games to play, which we took advantage of during the rain. My kids and husband enjoyed exploring the 8 acres on the property and playing baseball in the open field. The cabin was clean and looked even better than the photos. We will be back in the future.

My wife and I get away to a lot of places together every year. Our destinations often revolve around scenery, relaxation, and fishing. Riverside Retreat nailed all 3. Fishing conditions were not favorable because of high water. However, I have used several guides in my life and time with Chris was as educational as any I have experienced, he even put me on some fish!! The accommodations were awesome. The cabins are clean and loaded with character with everything you need to simply relax. Finally, the scenery was great. If you read Chris and Carol's biography and what they are trying to accomplish, they stick to the script. They are caring, attentive but not overbearing, and just plain good people. Thanks, Chris and Carole!!!

Really loved our stay here! We stayed at Eagle's Nest. We chose to take the shorter kayak float (Norfork access) and found it to be very worth the money!

The hosts were excellent, kind, and clearly took great care of the buildings and grounds. We felt welcomed the moment we checked in, and our cabin was clean and beautifully decorated for our visit. We definitely plan to come back the next time we want to stay by the river!

It has been month since my wife and I did a quick 2 day get away fly fishing trip. Still enjoying the memories. |Stayed at one of the cabins. As others have said Chris and Carol are top notch first class in all respects. Chris is one of the best of 20 or so guides I have used over the years in several states. |Their restaurant recommendations took us to 2 excellent dinners to complete 2 perfect days. |We plan to return next year|Thanks |
