Absolutely Terrible Experience!

My recent boat rental from this place was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. Where do I even begin? First off, the shifter cable on the boat came undone while we were out on the water, leaving us stranded and frustrated. It's almost like they didn't bother to check the basic functionality of the boat before renting it out.

But that's not all, folks! As we were pulling the boat out of the water, the pad decided it had enough and just fell off the trailer. Seriously? Is maintenance and safety not a priority for this rental company? It was a complete embarrassment trying to get the boat back on the trailer in front of other boaters.

And let's talk about the boat itself. The stickers on the boat were completely mismatched with the registration. How hard is it to ensure that the boat's paperwork is in order before handing it over to customers? As a result of this negligence, we got pulled over by the water police and had to deal with unnecessary hassle and embarrassment.

I can't believe the level of unprofessionalism and lack of attention to detail exhibited by this rental company. Our day on the water turned into a series of unfortunate events, and it's all thanks to their incompetence. Save yourself the headache and avoid this place like the plague. There are plenty of other boat rental options out there that actually care about their customers' safety and overall experience.

My partner and I rented a jet ski from Nolt Venture plenty of times last year. This year we finally bought our own jet ski. We always had a good experience and owner was very through with explaining everything before we left. Helpful with any questions we had. We accidentally did break a break light and get our tow behind stuck in the jet ski before when the rope went under and were reasonable charged for repairs. We wish they were open on Sundays. Friendly family ran business. My partner even got a little kitten the family helped him catch to surprise me with. Now he’s all cleaned up, grown up and part of the family. Couldn’t be any happier with our experiences working with the family.

Highly recommend not renting from this place. Rented a jet ski for a day a few weeks ago. Ran it for less than an hour before it used up ALL the oil. When I called them about it, they tried to make excuses and told me to not run it anymore which was already my plan. I still had to pay the full day rental price even tho I only used it for an hour at the most. I turned my credit card off that they had on file so they couldn't charge for anything else. Very poor customer service and I won't ever be renting from them again.

I wish you could do less than one star when leaving reviews because leaving one star is being generous for these people. Their equipment isn't maintained and breaks when your trying to use it. Definitely won't ever be back and I suggest you go somewhere else that has good and reliable equipment! I've talked to lots of people who rented from them and all of them had the same bad experiences and all said they won't rent from them again. FYI. Expect a nasty phone call or text if you leave a review telling the truth.

Do not rent from this place. The rental boats are trashy and old. The owners are VERY rude and unfair and charge you even if the boat had a problem. Rented a boat and it stopped working 5 min out on the lake but the owner would not give my money back and lied and said his boat didn’t have an issue. Then he blackmailed me to take this review off or he wouldn’t talk and when I did he still was not reasonable and refused to give my money back. They don’t admit when their rentals have problems. They just wanna scam you for your money. DO NOT RENT YOU WILL REGRET

Honest review? I GOT YOU.
My S/O & I recently rented a pop up for a week, i picked it up and we headed out for our vacation the same night. When we started to set it up we realized the door was completely messed up, it was nearly impossible to open without feeling like it would break if we kept trying to open it up. I have bad allergies so I didn’t realize but my s/o said it smelt terrible of mold.(it was covered in it, curtains old, etc) The switch for the lights & electric didn’t work. I had to buy extension cords & a few lights for us to be able to see. We also had no propane, WHICH the wife said it “should be full” when asked if we had to fill it up our selves or not We were 6hrs out. When we dropped it back off a week later, we told the husband about the issues and asked if we could have a least a few more bucks back on top of our security deposit, he refused and said they don’t do that, that we should have called the same day (mind you we got to our location 6hrs later, (1am)) he didn’t even try to work with us. I told him how the switch didn’t work and he tried to talk to me like I was dumb, telling me all I had to do was “turn the lights on the top.” Even after I told him it had nothing to do with that, it was the actual SWITCH, the outlets did not work. Charged us more for the issues that had nothing to do with us. #WASTEOFMONEY #rude really wish I could had left a good review but we will not be going back. They were nice when picking it up, not after they took their money PLUS some .

Had a great experience rented a pop up and it was great to have a dry place to hangout with the family and to be able to enjoy the a.c. on the 100 degree days we had while camping. The staff was super friendly and helpful why 4 vs 5 my side had a small leak after a strong storm we had. So just rolled over and was fine , better then a tent. They took a few dollars off and said they fix it

I rent kayaks from here at least once a year. They're prices are seriously unbeatable. They have a selection of sizes from 9-13ft all at the same price for a day. They're not the most convenient but I usually give them an hour or two notice - which they accommodate but don't seem to prefer. Nonetheless, I've never had an issue and would certainly recommend them for kayak rentals!
