This is my second time staying in Anchor Down. The location cannot be beat! The owner gave us a tour of one of the new cabins and they are amazing! Open floor plan, walk-in showers, sleeps a lot of people. I can't wait to go back and get one of the new cabins. The cool part is that more cabins are coming. This will be an annual trip and place to stay as far as I'm concerned.

Great place to stay. Full kitchens, stayed in newer one, 3/2 nice deck.
Next trip to Scottsboro and Guntersville we will stay here again.

One of our favorite stays we have had the blessing to spend our time at! First of all, I would like to note how quick the owners of the property were to get us checked-in. Our stay here was impromptu, & I called the owner, & she got us checked into our cabin within 11 minutes after we called. She was also very quick & helpful if we had any questions about the cabin.

On top of that, the cabin was an amazing stay. Each cabin had its own private boat parking with a pavilion. The cabins all had cute lights & porches with tables. This place would make some great memories for a stay at fish camp!

The interior was very clean & comfortable. It had all the amenities & more you would need for a week stay - washer/dryer, wifi, full kitchen, smart TV…

The cabins are all spaces away from one another, so it feels private & comfortable. It’s located on a large, beautiful piece of property. Not to mention, great price!

The cabin was absolutely spotless, so peacefully quiet and so close to the lake. It was amazing. My kids and I will be back in the summer. It looks like a great spring break and summer fun with fishing, hiking and whatever shenanigans we can get into. Absolutely love this place we give it 100 out of 100.

If you're looking for a great retreat with wonderful atmosphere, this retreat can't be beat! Spectacular views, comfy and cozy, top of the notch cabins to make you're experience enjoyable after a day fishing and relaxing. I highly recommend for a perfect family or friend getaway.

We stayed here using Airbnb. Cheap price and close to lake. Sort of like a small campground. I gave it 5 stars because the excellent price. Spencer was easy to reach any time we needed anything. Places could use a little TLC but overall not bad. Having the appliances (washer dryer stove refrigerator) in our place was great, and everyone slept pretty good. Our oven wasn't working properly and they switched it out the same day. It is very close to the highway and also the lake.

When my family and I came down as soon as we stepped in we new we were going to love it there. The cabin was spotless and had everything we needed. It was the perfect size for us and very cozy. WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK!!!❤️
