For our 8 years later honeymoon, my husband and I decided to go horseback riding and picked Green Ridge Horse Ranch. They were so easy to work with! Cameron was our trail guide and he took a couple very novice riders and gave us a winderful trip we won’t soon forget! Our horses Maygo and Peso were delightful and sweet and even tempered - perfect for us. We had a 3 mile tour where Cameron kept us entertained with stories about the area, the horses and life in general. And even when I got nervous - he was very reassuring. (I have a fear of heights and there was not even a 5’ drop off the side of the trail - the horses were fine, I’m just a city girl).

And we can’t forget Dottie! Our trailblazer pup! She led the way the whole time.

Great company, sweet horses, hard working guides. It’s a working farm, so you can’t judge a book by its cover - well worth the experience!!! We will definitely be back!

Awesome time horseback riding with my wife! She found a great deal on Groupon and I'm happy she did. The ride guides were very friendly, and the trail and horses were both beautiful!

Great place for horseback riding for beginners and above. The staff is very nice and hospitable. You can pet most of the horses and the 1.5 hour trail ride is worth the trip.

Horses were extremely friendly and tame. The horses listened very well while we were out on the trail, my 8 year old got to ride her own horse which she absolutely loved, her horse was exceptional with children. We got to gallop at different areas of the trail if we wanted to. Our trail guide stacey was excellent, shes very nice kind, patient and helpful the ride was very laid back which is exactly what we were looking for!! We definitely look forward to coming back soon!!!

These horses are programmed to their trail and are excellent for beginners to ride. The trail guide, Tamara, was great and had a good knowledge of each horse's personality. The horses are in great condition and are well cared for. Not only would I recommend this place for riders, I am returning in a few days with other family members including my son who is very afraid of horses. I was able to talk him into a ride because the horses are so well behaved. The ride I took today was with my aunt who had a bad riding accident a few years ago and has not ridden much since. She had a great time and gained more confidence.

We had a great time at Greenridge! We took the 3.5 hour tour, our tour guide was Cameron he was great with the horses and with us. We have rode a few times and really felt the experience was great this time with the horses being very well trained. Thanks for a great ride!
