Amazing views and a beautiful house that fit our family of 17 very comfortably! This house had everything we needed and everything was clearly marked and labeled. Communication with the host was excellent. They even provided us with plenty of information about the area and things to do. The variety of yard games kept the kids busy and entertained. The views from the back deck were stunning and we spent a lot of time out on the deck. There was plenty of seating on the deck. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pans, etc. I love that there was a refrigerator in the garage as well and we had plenty of space to store our food and beverages. The space was clean and there were plenty of bedrooms and sleeping options for all of us. We will definitely be back!

Overlook Lodge is an amazing vacation home to get away with your family or friends. The home is impeccable, the view is stunning and the hosts are very attentive. We would highly recommend.

Beautiful cabin and very spacious! Beautiful views year around ofvthe mountains and lake.Great place for many families to come together and relax or celebrate! Beautiful Christmas tree if you want to celebrate as a family in a cabin setting. Great kitchen that is well stocked. Very clean!!!! Two different living room areas. Outside activities - basketball hoop, paddleball court to set up, and putting range. Ping pong table and Foosball table in the lower level. Hoping to make more trips back.

If you’re looking for a fantastic vacation home with beautiful views of PA mountains and lake, this is it!!! Stunning mountain-top home has plenty of room for friends/family!! Well-planned house with so much space we could gather together for meals without being in each other’s way. We had a great time reconnecting with our closest friends in front of the incredible stone fireplace while taking in the mountain view. Our teenage boys had fun both inside and outside with things like table tennis, tetherball, the fire pit, and juggling soccer balls on the turf yard. The beds are so comfy and bathrooms were stocked with everything we needed. Plenty of level parking areas made it so easy to maneuver our vehicles around to load up the boat and jet skis. Down the driveway and in a couple minutes you’re right at the boat launch! Wished we could have stayed longer… definitely planning to go back!!

Second time renting from Dawn. She is so responsive and nice to deal with. The house is truly spectacular with lots of room. Perfect for family get togethers. Kitchen is super well stocked.

We had a family reunion at Overlook Lodge at Raystown Lake. The house accommodated 13 of us quite comfortably. The beautiful home is well-equipped. Several of us hiked up to see the Balancing Rock at Trough Creek SP and returned to the house to take a boat ride to view the fall colors followed by relaxing in the hot tub & finally s’mores around the fire pit. We were fortunate enough to get a glimpse of an eagle on our boat ride! Some others were able to bike on the world famous Alligripis trail. It was a wonderful, relaxing break from our everyday lives!

What a spectacular place!!
My husband's extended family gathered here to celebrate the lives of a dear aunt and uncle who had passed earlier in the year. For all 25 (that's not even half of the family) of us to be able to enjoy one another's company in large or intimate groups for morning coffee on the decks and cocktails around the fire pit was an incredible experience! Our weekend in April will be one that I will cherish always!

The lodge is spacious, immaculate and well-appointed. Definitely 5 stars!

You can relax in the hot tub, take a vigorous hike, play hoops in the drive or simply be. Bring your camera! The views are fantastic!

Come for the view, stay for the house! The view is absolutely stunning, and the whole property is oriented around letting you experience it from the amazing 2 story windows in the living room, to the giant deck, to the backyard with a putting green. You are high atop one ridge looking down at Raystown Lake and then across to another ridge. Simply stunning. The house itself is well laid out and well furnished with little decorative touches in each room, a game room and a hot tub. Close by is Raystown Lake (you overlooking it from the house) with boat launches, a large beach and park with hiking, disc golf, and mountain biking. There is a lot to do here whether you're relaxing at the house or exploring the surrounding natural beauty. Went with 4 large families and the house is so big we never felt crowded.
