A must-have for any bride who knows she can do it herself, but appreciates a friend on her side to help make sure the dream wedding comes to life on the big day! Once we signed on with Ruby and Pearl, we immediately began a great relationship with their team! We even had unlimited access to communicate with our event coordinator, Jessie throughout the planning months. She was responsive, helpful and checked in from time to time. We were given an easy to manage to-do list (which included NOLA favorites like when to book a second line) and a great list of recommend vendors, many of whom we booked! If we needed a few more options, she was happy to offer her advice! The month of, she took over communication with my vendors, handled logistics of delivery / pick up and put together a fabulous day of timeline that was detailed and made the day flow as if it was rehearsed 100x. Day of was a dream wedding day! Jessie arrived and never left my side until the limo door was shut. She was around when needed (to bustle the dress, reapply lipstick, hand off the bouquet for the toss) but she was not overbearing or strict on the timeline by pulling us away from conversations or special moments. She allowed the evening to flow, and knew when to step in to have us cut the cake and when to allow us to be free to be on the dance floor! Our families never missed a second of the action - first dance, cake cutting, garter toss, etc and that would not have been possible without Jessie! We love her team and would recommend using Ruby and Peal to any bride and groom who need that 'friend' to step in on the wedding day and make sure it goes off without a hitch.

Where do I even begin?!? Hiring a wedding planner was a top priority for my husband and I from the very beginning of the wedding planning process, and Ruby and Pearl was easily one of the best decisions we made. The layout of their services is genius and allows for couples to choose and pay for the exact services needed/wanted, yet feel as though they are getting a full planning service regardless of how much or little assistance is needed in the planning process. Their most basic package that is often referred to as a "month of" is far more comprehensive than what any other planning company around is offering. From the moment the contract with Ruby and Pearl is signed, there is unlimited communication with your planner, an interactive to do list, vendor referral lists, and an area to upload all of your vendor contracts for your planner to review. Jessie was our phenomenal planner and there was never a moment that we felt alone in the planning process. Whether it was suggestions, holding my hand through making tough decisions, or talking me through a process, she was always there when we needed her. If she didn't have the answer, she'd research whatever it was, talk to her team and get back to me. Every single phone call, email and meeting was exceptionally professional and an efficient use of time. The month of the wedding she completely took over which allowed me to relax a little and cherish my last few weeks of being a bride. The day of the wedding is what really solidified just how incredible Jessie and the staff at Ruby and Pearl truly are. Jessie flawlessly worked with all of our vendors and made sure everyone was doing exactly what they were supposed to be doing when they were supposed to be doing it. Our wedding day was everything we dreamed and more and know that Jessie and Ruby and Pearl played a large role in making our day so flawlessly perfect. Thank you Jessie and Ruby and Pearl from the bottom of our hearts! You are all amazing!!

I absolutely loved my experience with Ruby & Pearl!!! I consider myself a pretty difficult client because I have such a hard time focusing and making decisions, so if you're looking for someone to take your dream and provide options on how to actually achieve it- these are your people!

Jessie was extremely professional and organized, but also incredibly creative and detail oriented. She helped me to consider things I never would have thought to consider (particularly with logistics for my large number of out of town guests). The day of the wedding was flawless... the team was perfect with the flow of the evening and even sensitive to the little things (like dealing with the complicated bustle on my dress... lol). All in all, working with Ruby & Pearl put me at ease and I truly couldn't imagine the process without them!

From providing vendor recommendations in the beginning to communicating with vendors as the wedding approached, they were absolutely tremendous. Thanks to Ruby & Pearl, we were able to actually relax in the weeks leading up to the wedding and take in all of the happiness that surrounded us. On the wedding day, we never had to worry about a single detail. It is inevitable that any wedding will have minor hiccups, but Ruby & Pearl handled everything without ever having to bring anything to our attention. There is no way that our wedding would have been nearly the success that it was without the help of everyone at Ruby & Pearl! 10/10 would recommend as a MUST DO for your wedding!

I cannot begin to express my gratitude to Valerie, Jack and Jessie! They are truly THE dream team! They went above and beyond to bring my daughter's dream wedding to life. It was a picture perfect day thanks to their expertise and special kind of "magic"! The support they gave our entire family was second to none-they had every little detail taken care of for us. All we had to do was have the time of our lives-and thanks to them-we did! There is no doubt that Valerie is the best in the business. Her professionalism, creativity and passion is unmatched! The way she ran the rehearsal was amazing!!! Ruby and Pearl did not miss a beat! We were treated more like family than clients-they really care about the work they do. It was a special honor to have Valerie and her team in our corner for such a special day! I cannot thank them enough for what they did for my daughter, son-in-law, family and friends. Jessie is organized, extremely calm, and works behind the scenes to ensure everything runs smoothly. She handled a few last minute hiccups with ease and without being flustered. Worth every penny and would highly recommend Ruby and Pearl. It was great to enjoy the wedding without worrying about any of the details.

My daughter said the sweetest thing yesterday, she said I was so much fun on the day of her wedding as we gathered to do hair and makeup with her bridesmaids. I realized that it was because Jessie and Valerie had my back, and everything was running like clockwork. When the wedding was approaching they made everything easy, vendor management, answering my questions, staging the photo shoot so well, and that amazing production schedule for the entire day and evening. They were consummate professionals, and so very sweet. That feeling of “I got this” wasi in great part due to their efforts, and I am so grateful to them for making our girl’s day so perfect!

I was actually able to enjoy my own wedding! And it was great seeing my mom get to relax and enjoy herself the day of after doing so much work to make the day perfect. Jessie and Valerie sewed emergency buttons, fielded last minute requests from guests, created a production schedule, and reminded me about decisions I needed to make and deadlines. Basecamp is a great software that keeps all your wedding stuff (contracts, who's been paid and who hasn't, vendor recs) all in one spot.
