Love this place! High end quality food. The sea bass was to die for! All the “fixins” with it were amazing as well. Shrimp and crab bisque was delicious! Not a bad thing to say! Great service too

We are never disappointed! Tonight was butternut squash ravioli, halibut with risotto, and a peanut butter chocolate silk pie! Yum yum!

Saturday evening. First time guests and it may have been the best meal/service/atmosphere I’ve had in a long time. We didn’t have reservations but they sat us right away. Our server Stacy was so pleasant and informative. She walked us through the menu and even told us the specials they have for different nights of the week. (We’ll be back for prime rib Thursday!).

I had the special of the Filet and it was cooked perfectly. The carrots were excellent and the mashed potatoes were made with skill. My Wife had the crab roll. Light and flavorful.

Overall this place is a hidden gem!

Great food made to your specifications while you wait in a rustic old school environment filed with relics from the past. Not to mention the staff is incredible. People actually drive hours to come here while I can drive 5 mins and be there. It’s funny that the upper class wants to experience our Armstrong county which helped build America.

Amazing food and drinks! We started with the fried calamari that was so fresh. I had the crab roll and it was so good. My husband had the steak sandwich which was equally as good. We finished with the Peach Carmel cheesecake that was to die for. Angie was the best! We will definitely be back!

I have been wanting to bring my wife here for years, even when it was the restaurant prior, I just never got the chance. I heard good things about the latter, but I also heard really good things about the national public house. The menu and the reviews I looked up sold me on giving it a try. I had a meeting after work in Latrobe today and knew that I would be getting home around lunchtime. I messaged her and seeing if she wanted to go out to lunch and I knew this is the place I wanted to bring her. We don’t get much time out just by ourselves, so it was the perfect opportunity. We were greeted by a super friendly staff member that was friendly throughout our whole visit. The appetizer and the main meals that we had were exquisite! My wife got a steak that you literally almost did not have to chew. It was so soft. I ended up going with the blue cheese burger that had this cherry stuff on top. All I can say is, I could eat a burger like that daily. Our appetizer was some kind of feta and phyllo dough cheese, stuffed pastry, with some kind of cranberry sauce on top. And to top it all off, they had some good beers on tap. I told my wife we might have to keep this restaurant as our little secret spot for just me and her. We definitely look forward to when we can come back here.

My local restaurant also happens to be one of the highest i could recommend to friends. A sophisticated menu that is always changing and adding things. Tuesdays are for dragon noodles which I give a 10/10. Stop by any day though for a meal that you wish you could have everyday! Staff is also very professional and friendly!

We've been to National Public House on a regular basis since they opened. Absolutely always incredible from the cocktails to the staff to the food! Everything is always perfect! Tonight we went to a special reservation only Wild Game dinner with drink pairing! I can't even describe how amazing this dinner was! The chef, drink guru, dessert specialist, owners, and staff at this place are phenomenal! Nothing in the area compares! Enjoy!
