We have stayed at the Lodges of Gettysburg several times over the past several years and have enjoyed every visit. The cabins are very clean and well-appointed. Beautiful and quiet location. Easy drive to the battlefields and into the town of Gettysburg. Delicious dinner with great service and full bar. We especially liked the crab dip appetizer and steaks. The desserts were also excellent, especially the key lime pie (not the typical key lime pie). We are already thinking about when we can return to the Lodges at Gettysburg.

This small resort consists of thirty or forty little cottages set on a hill overlooking Gettysburg. The nearby lodge hosts a dining room and other function rooms. We had a terrific meal in their dining room, which was delicious and affordable. Michelle gave us great service and Colton made great cocktails. Hope at the front desk was a friendly, welcoming face and answered all the questions that we had. The cottage itself was adorable, and we loved our stay.I would highly recommend.

I was just here over the weekend! We stayed in VT up near the front, and it was wonderful being so close to the main building.
It was a wonderful trip, and a gorgeous venue, but I also want to highlight a few things I really appreciated:

The staff were always friendly and helpful, especially at the front desk! We had to check in early, and they were happy to accommodate us.

The cabin itself was warm and cozy all weekend. The kitchenette includes dishes, silverware, cups, dish soap, and everything you need for the coffee pot! The bathroom had shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and body wash, along with a cleansing bar for make up. I'm specifying all this because it's what I look for in these reviews to save on packing 😉 The lobby has a small pantry for items you may have forgotten at home, as well as snacks and drinks.

We were here a few days after snow hit, and the roads were completely clear. I was nervous on walking back from the main building at night, but I felt safe walking and didn't have any issues with ice.

This was an incredible stay from start to finish. The staff called to let us know they were closing the lodge a bit earlier but we could still check-in, so from the get-go there was great communication! When we arrived late it was super foggy so it wasn't their fault that it took us a moment to find the cabin in the dense fog but their instructions to get to the lodge were very clear and the map was nice. When we got to the cabin it was well-lit so we could see it and the parking wasn't too far away, just across the way! The cabin was very clean, organized, cozy, and accommodating with a mini fridge, microwave, coffee machine, and extra linens. The view from the back porch was beautiful and the area was nice and quiet. The only downside, honestly not a massive deal, was the blinds situation for the windows specifically the bathroom but only sharing since that window was facing other units and you could see in (just mentioning just in case someone is uncomfortable with that). The bed was comfy and the heaters were nice! Check-out was super easy and the staff interactions were always kind and friendly. I am so glad we found this place for our quick visit to the area and we will be back! Thank you for a nice getaway 🙂

Really nice cabins. Came up for a snow-tubing weekend and got early check-in and was able to really enjoy the privacy with the cabin and separate entrances. The rooms were cozy and clean. The scenes are beautiful and felt very safe.
Front desk staff was nice and it’s been a while since I got keys to a room ☺️

I’m knocking a star off for fact that the attached restaurant says online it’s open till 11:00 pm but no where does it indicate that the kitchen closes at 9:00 pm and when we called to inquire they were very matter a fact about about it like we should know that the culture of drinking till 11:00 pm at night is normal.

This is the second time we have stayed here and it did not disappoint. We stayed the last time at the New Hampshire cabin and requested it this year, and we got it! As we meet our cousins here, it affords us some nice parking and close to the main building. Being November, and cold, we always found our cabin snug and just the right temperature. There isn't a cooktop in the kitchen, but you will find a microwave, a standard coffee maker, and a refrigerator. As we used the entire cabin, the master suite side also has a refrigerator. Lots of room! Nice size bathrooms. Great big towels. I do wish they had a long bench for luggage, and a shelf and some extra hooks in the bathroom for toiletries and to hang towels. The view is really nice. In our case, we came for Thanksgiving dinner. So convenient to be able to walk to the dining area and back. The location is convenient to town, and we ate at Perkins for breakfast. The staff at the front desk were exceptional. We would definitely stay again.

I (and about 100 other people) attended a LARP event last weekend, staying in an Admiral's Lodge. The room was quite comfortable and well appointed, and the layout of the cabins being a short walk from the event space was pleasant. We didn't need to worry about transportation, but we also didn't have to worry about noise from the event keeping us up any later than we wanted to be.

The food was pretty good for that kind of event. The bars had a great selection, and the smoked drinks were particularly popular.

I do want to take some time to thank the staff especially. Every single person I interacted with was very pleasant, helpful, and welcoming. During the course of the weekend, I misplaced my work phone (100% my fault), and the staff was nothing but kind and helpful. They went above and beyond by helping me look for it, and they even opened up some areas of the building that were closed at the time, taking time away from their normal duties and being very patient with me, even though, as I said, it was 100% my fault.

To sum up, we were very well taken care of, and I am pretty sure my group will quite happily come back next year.

I love the historic room! It was so quiet and peaceful! I will definitely return on my next ski trip! It is a must to eat in the Tavern. They provided excellent service and delicious food! I truly enjoyed my stay!
