Katie and Joe were fantastic tour guides. They made sure you were comfortable with the Segway before heading out. Once you hit the streets, there was narration the entire way. Joe was fantastic. He really put you in the middle of the battle with his narration abilities. He had the sound of guns and bombs down pat. It was easy listening to him. The tour does last 3 hours, so make sure you have on comfortable shoes and can stand for that amount of time. Well worth it and much better than the bus tour.

Our tour guide did an awesome job keeping us safe, especially my 14 year old granddaughter. Jim is a knowledgeable narrator of the Gettysburg battlefield and keynote military personnel. The upfront training on the Segway was right on target. They spent the appropriate time with each participant, depending on his/her ability to handle the Segway. FYI, this is a 3 hour tour, not counting the indoor training time. My wife and I enjoyed this tour for the second time.

What an amazing way to see the battlefields. Al was great, very professional when it came to the training and leading us around town, and he was great to talk to while we were waiting on the weather.

It was my first time on a Segway and it was a little awkward but very enjoyable and the roads through the battlefields were fun to ride on. Our guide was very knowledgeable and I enjoyed his retelling of the battles.

Just do it, you won’t be sorry. It was a great experience and I’m glad I decided to spend the money on this instead of souvenirs, memories last longer. The day was beautiful and I loved being outside instead of walking around a museum. I highly recommend it, it was perfect for me, it was just what I needed, I love being outside in nature.

I bought a pair of Groupons for a 90 minute Segway Ride. I didn't like the many fine prints which placed a lot of restrictions which had me procrastinate till the last 3 weeks before expiration. I had very few options left and adding severe weather in the forecast, I was totally stressed out as I attempted to make last minute reservations.

Fortunately, everything turned for the better on the day of the event. My desired time slot became available, and the weather held up. Every staff was friendly, professional, patient and helpful. After signing the waivers and watching the instructional video, we were assigned a personal trainer and went through the indoor training course for about 30 minutes.

After everyone passed the training, we were then equipped with audio receivers and ear pieces, so we can hear from our guide, Buddy, loud and clear throughout the 4.2 mile ride. I think any and all tours anywhere should be equipped with such technology. Normally I had trouble hearing in a group tour, but not today!!! Buddy was a perfect guide. He knew everyone's name; he kept everyone's attention; and he took care of everyone. We were also given bottles of water, string cheese, and candy bars. Since we were prohibited to take pictures while on the Segway, he took pictures of everyone and posted on Flickr so we can download our pictures for free.

The Segway PT was a joy to ride on. Each is aptly named after a civil war horse. Mine was called "Faugh-a-Ballagh" (after a war cry meaning "clear the way!"). The group size of 8 was just the right size. I had a blast. And I can't wait to bring my family when my son turns 14, the minimum required age. SegTour should be on everyone's bucket list, and the historic Gettysburg where you can view hundreds of monuments is a perfect place to do it!

Riding a Segway to get a 2 1/2 hour tour of Gettysburg and its important and fascinating history is probably one of the best decisions I've made while traveling. I wasn't disappointed, trust me you won't be either. Al was a great guide and Norma was an excellent Segway trainer. Thanks guys!!

This is probably the best tour we have ever been on. The staff was friendly, it was easy to learn how to ride the Segway, and it was very organized. The staff thought of everything, from safety to two water bottles, one liquid and one ice. They provided appropriately spaced-out breaks and even snacks! Our segway guide, Meghan, was amazing and the licensed battlefield guide, Chris, was equally amazing and extremely knowledgeable! Lastly, they took pictures of us and provided them to the group for free...usually this is an extra fee.

I honestly don’t know where to start. I highly recommend doing this tour. I booked this tour for the wrong date. So with that being said I showed up on the wrong day. We called the number and they had spots available for the evening tour and allowed us to join without an additional cost. Which I am extremely grateful for. They have you watch a safety video before even getting on a seg way which are named after horses who died in the war (how cool). Than they actually have you do practice runs in their training room. They are super patient with you and explain everything very clearly. They keep working with you until you’re confident. So with that being said arrive early so that you can start on time. Once you are trained they give you a headset attached to a one way communication device so you can hear the tour guide speaking. Which our tour guide was fantastic! I can’t stop talking about the experience. Also it started to rain so they waited for it to pass before we set off on the adventure. Truly a spectacular experience!

The staff was friendly and helpful. They chatted with us while we waited for the rest of our group to finish up the safety portion before heading out. They gave us recommendations on food and other things to do in town. The tour itself was amazing. We had Jim Miller as our certified guide and he was not only knowledgeable but also very open to answering all of our questions throughout the 3 hour tour. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to tour the battleground with a guide.
