we booked our room on booking.com & requested a late check out for One person knocked on the door & asked us about checking out we told them we booked a late check out he said okay 5 minutes later someone called our room & asked about checking out so we said yeah we are leaving even though we wasn't supposed to leave till 1pm. When we got there last night we had room 122 on the first floor. The room wasn't ready. Bed wasn't made, trash bag full of trash on the floor. Front desk lady was super nice about it she upgraded our room for free to the third floor room 306 . So that was pleasant. Only problem with that room I couldn't take a bath this morning as I found long pubes all over the tub. Besides the nice lady last night the rest of the experience was just awful. Like I said room 122 wasn't cleaned even though we didn't get there till 10:30 pm booking the room the night before. & we was rushed out of there this morning & bathtub full of pubes.

Positive: Both the staff and the location were excellent. Negative: No coffee maker, some furnishings were years past their replacement date, large brownish yellow stain on comforter, no tp holder in bathroom, lamps not working. And all this after being moved from initial room due to obnoxious urine smell in first room.

The front door push bar mechanism was broken, which at least once led to a group of guests trapped inside waiting for staff to release the electric locking mechanism. This is not only inconvenient it is dangerously life threatening in case of emergency. While staff acted as though this was a recent development, the mechanism was disassembled, including the lock cylinder being completely removed. Staff usually keep the door wedged open through various means. Could not enter our first room upon arrival. Had card keys programmed and reprogrammed three times, but the room door lock would not open. Once inside room, heat would run up to desired temperature, then AC would run. As my trip was during the first really cold snap, this resulted in some uncomfortably chilly moments during the constant hot/cold cycles. Staff was pleasant, facility reasonably clean, but showing wear. Ice machine not working. In room hair dryer not working, but another was provided from front desk. Overall: serviceable, but some serious issues (front door). In case of emergency, use an alternate exit.

Although we had some issues with our room & had to cancel… The service was amazing and the staff was understanding of our need to cancel. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for an affordable 3 star hotel.

Location is convenient to the highways.

Bathroom was unsafe. I asked for a handicap accessible room, which I got as requested. I was excited to see a tub bench in the bathtub. Thankfully, I checked it carefully before sitting down. It was not mounted and would’ve collapsed easily, had sat down on it.

The inner door in the lobby was broken in the morning. I saw a doorstop holding a partially open when I entered the lobby. Somehow the doorstop was moved at one point. When the doorstop was moved, patrons were unable to exit the lobby, until the young woman working the desk came along to open the door.

Each of these is a significant safety issue. I urge the hotel to fix both.

Positive: The room selection was good, comfortable, clean. Negative: I didn't like the public places: the breakfast area was decent, cloth chairs need removed or stain cleaning; the bathroom ? was sticky and slippery; the carpet walkways to and from my room were stained, needing new carpet or stain cleaning.

I would recommend staying somewhere else. There was no milk for cereal at breakfast. Breakfast is from 6:30-9:30. I went down at 8:30 am. When I asked the desk clerk about milk, he said “well, breakfast started at 6:30am” insinuating that it’s just too bad they ran out. The jelly was so old it was dry like taffy and the peanut butter also tasted expired and rancid. Also it’s right next to a Gabe’s. There was a guy using a gas powered leaf blower to blow dirt around the parking lot till 12:30 am. Location is terrible. Breakfast is terrible.

Positive: "" Negative: AM Front desk clerk was rude. NO milk at the breakfast. The jelly was expired. The peanut butter was rancid. They keep the bathroom next to the breakfast area locked. Someone using leaf blower till after midnight in the parking lot next-door
