Told me over the phone you had multiple used tires, came in to find out only had 1 tire. Fine, quick install was done. It was installed on my vehicle but then my mechanic noticed that it was 8 years old, manufactured in 2017. That is unacceptable industry norm, tires sold should not be older than 5 years from manufacture date. These are DANGEROUS and should not be allowed on the road. It’s a liability.

Super friendly people, who took the time to work with me, and that short notice they were able to get my car in for an inspection and fix some issues I needed taken.care of for it to pass.
I had seen someone else saying something about rotors, they said the same thing to me. But I think mine actually were bad - I included a picture.

Did they get to work done in time that day? Yes.
Was it good work? Yes.
Was it a fair price for what I had done and the work involved? Yes.

But more than that, they were friendly. They went out of their way to accommodate me. They helped work around my budget. And most of all, they made me feel welcomed in an area short on hospitality.

During a getaway weekend to Jim Thorpe, I got a flat tire. The folks at Gomas didn't bat an eye when I showed up at 8:10 in the morning. They fixed my tire and I went on my merry way. While waiting, only took 20-30 minutes (I had no appointment), I spoke to several other customers who have been going to Gomas for years and they assured me I was in good hands. Highly recommend!!

Absolute trash! couldn't communicate with the mechanics. They couldn't drive my car with a manual transmission. They had me drive it in and out of the building. I had snow tires mounted an balance. It took 2 hours. They charged me a $127. And the previous tires that were on the rims are absolute trash, garbage. I have to throw them away due to gaping holes in bead. Negative one star.

My car shut down on turnpike, my battery light had been on for a week. It shut down on me going to work. So I got it towed to this garage. I called and asked them to check battery and alternator. They said battery was the problem. I went and got new battery, put in the battery myself, just like I found the old one. Let sit for 10min and the battery light went out. So I thought it was ok to drive. I drove an hour down the road and the car shut off again as it did before. My friend who has been a life time mechanic came and helped me. He did the test on battery and alternator. He showed me that the battery was holding its charge when car was off to try and start it, it had the right amount voltage to start it right up. I tired and nothing. He said that’s odd. Then he tested the alternator by putting battery pack on battery turning car on, then took off battery pack and then tested the battery and I could see the voltage going down. That means my alternator was done, my mechanic told me. I called the garage and spoke to them and they told me they can have it towed back to them and put alternator in and they’ll cut labor cost in half, so I’d have to pay for tow and parts. Why would I pay you to tow the car back to your shop. That was almost $200 dollars, now that would be $400. They told me my battery was the problem. I know how a car works. If the battery was having problems there might be something wrong with alternator or starter and I put in starter a year+ ago. Idk if they know how to check it or what, but don’t you think they should have at least got my car off the highway so it doesn’t get towed and impounded. I’ll be putting way more out and still have to get car fix and pay for that too. Let me know what y’all think.
