Smith's Janitorial had an excellent, exacting process for gaining our trust and initiating a professional relationship at Saint Joseph's Catholic Academy in 2022, but unfortunately, that is where our positive experience ended.

Smith's, led by Tiffany and Tim, is a team of unprofessional, abrasive, and slipshod cleaners. There were some normal mishaps on our part in the beginning: doors locked when they were to be left open, etc., and we quickly rectified those. After all, if you have a vendor coming in to do work for your business or school, you must make that an easy job for them!

However, the team would miss at least a few major areas, and we would notice trash laying about, visible dirt in high-traffic areas, and buildup in sinks, etc. Most awkwardly, their employees would take lengthy smoke breaks outside our buildings on our tobacco-free campus, leaving their cigarette butts in our parking areas. When we pointed out these issues, Smith's denied the smoking on our grounds and falling short on any part of their service, despite being presented with evidence and pictures from our maintenance team.

With no change in attitude or quality of service, we notified them after a few months that we would wish to terminate our contract, due to "unsatisfactory consistent completion of services, a change in staffing for our facilities, and incompatibility of professional temperament with Smith's." They simply responded that our contract would run its course and we needed to pay each month. It became extremely clear that Smith's does not intend to maintain or salvage your business or their reputation.

It is evident that Smith's does not take care when they have your business, nor do they care very much, if at all, when they jeopardize the client relationship and ultimately lose your patronage. For all schools, businesses, and organizations looking to outsource an important facet of your operations, be warned, and look elsewhere! There are so many other high-quality cleaners out there, just not this one!

They were very thorough. Visited the laundromat and it was well kept whenever I visited.
