This was a clean and comfortable place, I don't really have many complaints. The only thing was that the room they had first given us had a lock that did not work, so we informed the front-desk staff and they were able to immediately accommodate us to a different room with a working lock. The new room was clean and everything looked pretty new. The exercise room is limited in equipment and rather small. There is a small breakfast selection in the mornings.

Strange place. Seems to have been an old Days Inn that was purchased by a family who renovated the interior on a shoestring budget without much help from Wyndham. Wyndham appears to have just slapped their name on the place. We stayed here 2 nts as a cheap option while attendingmy daughter's Greek Parents Wknd at Penn State. All other hotels and Air Bnbs sold out. The positives: comfortable bed and fluffy white towels. Heat worked well. The negatives: Very outdated and mismatched decor. - from the furniture to the mismatched doorknobs, No hot water the first morning. Empty shampoo/shower gel dispensers. Cheap Dove soap. Cracks in the bathroom tile, old crumbling caulk around the toilet. Bathroom in need of updating. Exterior of property looks almost derelict. Curtains need to stay closed as they are mere feet from parked cars. No money put into exterior at all. Free breakfast is just adequate and that's being kind. Signs advise of a "restaurant coming soon, " but no construction seems to be happening. Picture on the wall in our room still had a sticker stuck on the front of it from the auction it was purchased from. Assumes that most furniture in hotel was purchased at auctions. We saw housekeeping cart a few doors down from our room when we left for PSU in the morning, but they clearly don't make up the room on a daily basis. Stickers cover items on signage all over property no longer available. Our room wasnt touched. Walls are thin and you can hear conversations going on across the hall, next to you and above you. Truck stop right next to the property. Conclusion- Don't expect much. This is a place to rest your head for a night but it's not much more than that. Kind of a dump that's been renovated a little but not enough. Not much pride in family ownership apparent here.

I had to get a room on a last-minute basis, and I ended up finding this place. I'm not sure what it was before, but new owners have completely remodeled it, so everything is pretty new. I got a single king room, and it was SO clean! The mattress was very comfortable, and the pillows were nice and new and fluffy. The bath towels were soft, and the shower pressure was so good it was bordering on painful. Mini fridge in the room as well, which was nice. They have a small continental breakfast area in the check-in area in the morning. Not a huge selection of stuff, but enough to make it super convenient. Fresh fruit, coffee, teas, juices, a couple choices of cereal and pancake batter for waffles. They have a "coming soon" restaurant and bar that will be super nice and convenient when it opens. The front desk staff are very kind and helpful as well. Some things to note if it's important to you: there is no elevator to the 2nd floor. It wasn't an issue for me because I had 1 bag, but if you had more luggage, it may be an issue. I will say the front staff did ask if I had luggage, so I'm sure they would help with that. The other thing was that, when I stayed, the ice machine was broken. Again, not an issue for me, but worth noting. I'm sure it's on their "to-do list" being a rather new hotel. Neither would keep me from staying here again. For the price, you really can't beat this place.

Some tips for the owners as they get established and are able to make some upgrades: the desk and chair in the rooms are very nice but it would be nice to have another "comfy" chair in the rooms as well for another choice to sit other than the desk chair or bed. Otherwise, I would say keep up the good work. Thank you for making check-in and out so quick and easy, and your housekeeping team is amazing! I would stay here again if needed, in a pinch or otherwise.

I'm gonna be honest, work booked this hotel for me, and when I pulled up, I wasn't expecting much. Then, I got to my room. Everything is brand new and upgraded, TVs have live and movie streaming, beds are super comfortable, and the bathroom is a good size as well. Included is a dorm sized fridge, and breakfast, which i don't eat, but other reviews say it's pretty good. There is a bar and restaurant that will be "opening soon" according to the signs. Everything is clean, and the front desk staff are very helpful. For the price, other than missing a microwave in the room, it's well worth it. Nice family restaurant located next door as well.

Great location for when State College is totally booked. Newly remodeled and very clean. Excellent service. Needed something at 9pm and maintenance came in less than 10 minutes. Would be great to have microwaves in room and water available or cups. Breakfast was OK. Good value for a clean room.

Room was clean and comfortable. LOVED THE MIRRORS. TV and refrigerator were brand new, the fridge wasn't even plugged in yet. Had a good experience and actually decided that I would use this hotel again when my husband is hospitalized for back surgery at the end of the month.

Great hotel. Rooms all have new comfortable beds and furniture. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Basic breakfast cereal, juice, tea, coffee and waffles. It's about 25 minutes from State college and half the price so win / win.

Very clean rooms and big with all you need except a pot to make tea or coffee.
Soft pilow would have been appreciated.
Quiet and located near some restaurants closed on sunday for dinner.
A small sport room which as the merit to exist.
Very good breakfast.
