I visited this location on Monday and had mostly a great experience. The building is very clean and definitely had that spa/relaxtion feel. The saunas were closed (I was advised of this when making my appt) so my friend and I were able to use the salt room instead. I had a wonderful massage with Carolynn, who was very professional and had great technique. I was less than pleased with the mani/pedi experience. The woman that did my nails, although very nice and chatty, seemed to be newer/less experienced. My toes were painted a bit messy (even my boyfriend commented, asking if I did them in a rush myself) and my nails were painted unevenly. It was hard to tell in the moment and I did ask her to go over a few things again, but ultimately they do not look like I went to a professional. I was really hoping that for the more expensive price I paid and that I was at a spa, I would’ve had a way better experience than going to your regular nail place where they just want to get you in and out. I understand if someone is new or less experienced, but if that’s the case, the price should be lowered. I don’t think it’s fair to pay the same price for a nail tech with less experience than someone who has 10+ years of experience if that makes sense. I would recommend this spa for a massage but not for mani/pedi.

This spa was recommended to me but I was extremely disappointed in the gel manicure. The soak off of gel was done by dipping your entire fingers in acetone (my home salon wraps each finger in foil so your skin isn't affected). The manicure itself wasn't well tended to. Here is what my fingers looked like after acetone and final result.

I recently had a manicure completed by Victoria and she did an amazing job. She always takes her time and is very precise. She has done a pedicure for me as well and it lasted two months (paint is still holding up). I would definitely recommend her. Not to mention the salt room that’s included is so nice to relax in while waiting for your polish to dry. 😀

While the spa itself is beautiful, the front desk experience at Tuscan Sun Spa in Canonsburg can be hit or miss. At times, the reception staff seem disengaged, more focused on chatting among themselves & playing on their cellphones than greeting guests. Phone calls can go unanswered or be handled with minimal enthusiasm. At times no one will even be upfront! Scheduling or rescheduling appointments might feel like you’re inconveniencing them. For a spa that positions itself as a luxury destination, the customer service at the front desk doesn’t always match that promise. A few interactions can leave you feeling like just another number instead of a valued guest.

Customers beware !!!!!
I Called the other day with some questions about their services, and had asked to have a consult with one of the professionals. Normally my past experience is, consults are free.
But at Tuscan Sun, and spa, if you don’t sign up for the service after the consul; Tuscan Sun & Spa charges you a $75 fee!!
What a rip off…..
No reputable professional business does that.

I had good intentions of spending hundreds of $$$$ on products and services at Tuscan Sun and Spa; now I have nothing but disgust for how they handled the Customer Service part of their business.

We had reservations scheduled for over a month only to have our appointment canceled less than 20 hours before it was scheduled to occur. The cancellation was presumably due to a staff member quitting two days prior. Tuscan Sun Spa and Salon made absolutely no effort to accommodate us with a different masseuse or make things right in any way. Do not patronize this business unless you are willing to have your plans canceled at the last minute.

My first time here was today for a peach and melon pedicure. Omg loved it! The place is absolutely beautiful and everyone is very friendly. I loved the snack plate and they offer free N/A drinks. Victoria was very welcoming and knowledgeable about other services at the spa. She did a great job on my feet! She showed me around and told about what the spa has to offer. I can’t wait to go back!

I've been going to Tuscan Spa for about a year and had a fantastic experience last night and want to show my appreciation for Katrina. I'm leaving on a trip soon and scheduled a brow wax/lamination and lash lift with Katrina 6 months in advance. 30 minutes before my appointment Tuscan Spa called and had to cancel my appointment due to a power outage. It was no fault of theirs but of course I was disappointed. Due to work and timing of the trip there was not an option to reschedule.

About 35 minutes later they called me back, the power came back on and Katrina was willing to stay and wait for me and still complete the services even though it would extend beyond her work day - if that didn't work she even offered to come in on her day off. It was already above and beyond that Katrina waited over 30 minutes for me to get there but while there I was treated like a super star. Everyone was so sweet and kind, Katrina made cider and a small fruit plate for me and took her time to do an exceptional job.

They truly went out of their way for me to not only make this happen for me but to also make it a memorable experience!
