Very good venue! We have decorated this place multiple times, and the venue is spacious, there is a good amount of seating, and the owner (April) is very nice! The lights in the room upstairs makes the place very neat. Note - decorations are from Angie's Variety Shop.

I photographed a wedding at this venue (Fall 2021) and it was a wonderful experience. The venue itself is located in a wonderful area. The couple and I were able to easily walk to different areas near the venue for portraits, plus the venue itself has roof access. If you are looking to have a more intimate wedding and downtown Lancaster vibes this is a great option for you.

Not a huge fan of the ownerships style of management. I understand this build has been mistreated many times, but I don’t think quality clients should need to suffer due to someone’s else’s irresponsibility. My suggestion for improvement would be to screen people before allowing them to rent the space. We’ve rented for quite a few events and have always been respectful of the space, but never respected despite our efforts.

The owner Miss April is so nice and kind! We loved the venue, the floors, the high ceilings , made everything look even more beautiful! My family rented it back in 2021 for a Quince & Sweet 16 together of a couple of cousins!

Attended a wedding here and nice layout. Downstairs on 1st floor they set up 2 bar stations and in another adjoining room had the appetizers.

Upstairs was beautifully decorated and plenty of seating for guests for the ceremony. Back on 1st floor a huge area for seating, dancing, etc

Downsides was a little cramped and absolutely no parking. That is an issue if hosting an event with elderly folks attending. Also not 100% sure but the main entrance was steps and not sure if there is a handicap notice so if that is a concern I would call

We had so much fun working with April and her team! April had so many great ideas and really helped bring our wedding vision to life and make our day better than we could have imagined! She was very flexible when COVID changed our original plans and is such a warm, caring person. We loved picking out artwork for our wedding and being able to customize based on our theme. There are also closets full of candles, vases, and other decorations that really helped pull everything together. We also rented our linens from April (she has every color you could possibly imagine!) and some beautiful dinnerware to match our colors. Our guests really enjoyed the venue and we got many compliments on how unique and beautiful it was! We definitely recommend choosing Mulberry Arts Studio for any event you’re planning!

Horrible building ownership. Non-working kitchen appliances, last minute charges to use the stove! Condensation dripping buckets from the A/C. And if politics matters to you, also a supporter of the convicted felon.

This space is a magical venue run by a wonderful woman. April was the bomb to work with in scheduling and hosting a large dance at the studios. She has created such a wonderful venue for weddings, dances, social events, art crawls, etc and is an incredible resource of information on the arts, history behind the building, and more. It was a a joy to hold an event Mulberry Art Studio and I hope to be back someday soon!
