What a hidden gem. We stayed here one night to break up a road trip. Looking for excuses to return to this location. Hotel is absolutely charming and large. Rooms were spacious and spotless. Staff were wonderful. Breakfast was appreciated and great. Highly recommend.

First class hospitality was provided at the front desk. We were stuck in a terrible snow and ice event on I-80. We sat stopped in the dark, in the January cold, for 3.5 hours. I called the hotel and informed them we were still coming. When we arrived, the two staff members greeted us with such kindness and warm, welcoming hospitality. It was greatly appreciated. They expressed concern about our drive, relief that we were fine, and settled us into two excellent rooms based on our specific requests. Having not eaten, the woman at the desk went out of her way to stock us up with various snacks they were providing in the dining area. She made sure we were taken care of that night. What nice people! I have stayed in 5-star hotels all over the world. Those two people at the desk of the Country Cupboard Inn exceeded the level of hospitality and service I have received in most of them. Thank you to them both!

Positive: Hotel employee was phenomenal. a daytime lady was also kind, trying to get us a luggage cart when we checked out- (12/15 10am) even going outside almost all staff were wonderful. LOVED THE COOKIES DAILY. Breakfast was always good Negative: no one said they were in a remodel. The front wasn't being used- No noise, well insulated rooms. Would have liked local info, maps, restaurant and other travel interests. No working ice machine

This hotel served us well for a swim meet that our son was competing in at Bucknell. We'd been in this complex of several hotels and a restaurant (Matty's) one other time and for a town that doesn't have a whole lot this is definitely a good location. Starbucks, Panera and a few other conveniences nearby. ||The check in time is more generous than most at 2PM and we were granted a late checkout as well which we very much appreciated as it allowed us to stop back in to gather our belongings after the morning preliminaries. ||The breakfast was fine as far as free ones go. The muffins/pastries were low both days. Plenty of seating. ||The room was a good size with a pullout couch, desk, and sinks both inside and just outside of the bathroom. Good size refrigerator as well. With just two of us we were really happy to be given 4 bath towels. Toiletries are not name brand and are travel size. Fan in the shower area is a plus. Nightlight outside of the bath as well. ||Only downside is the walls are thin so folks congregating out in the hall could be heard loud and clear. And overpriced. Friday and Saturday nights are higher than the rest of the week but too much for the area and level of accommodations. ||Would suggest for anyone looking for convenience to Bucknell that doesn't mind being overcharged for it.

Very spacious hotel with friendly staff. Hotel rooms feel like home. Excellent stay. It also has a very large spacious parking lot. Great for larger vehicles while traveling.

After stumbling across this hidden gem and discovering a loft room in a hotel-I knew I had to stay! We booked a loft room and it did NOT disappoint. I could appreciate the full bath down stairs with a whirl bath in addition to a full bath upstairs with a shower. Yes people, upstairs and downstairs with two full bathrooms !!! The room was beyond spacious and it made you feel like you were at home with the decor. The whole room was a vibe.

I really liked the Keurig in the room. I’m a coffee drinker and the instant pouches found in most hotels is garbage. I also liked the little touches in the room with the towels and toilet paper being folded over. Housekeeping did a wonderful job to make this room perfect.

I did not like the size of the tv upstairs- super small. But there was a bigger one down stairs.

I did not include pictures of the pool- but they do have one. There is also breakfast served in the morning. At the time of my visit the dining room was being redone, so breakfast was served in a side room off the front desk. Hot eggs/potatoes, waffle maker, juice/coffee. The food actually tasted okay and wasn’t bland.

The woman at the front desk Sandra- absolutely amazing. All the staff were very helpful and pleasant. Will stay again!!

Beautiful grounds and a well-cared for hotel. It is located close to the Lewisburg Antique Mall and Bucknell college. Our room was comfortable, clean, and nicely decorated. The cookies and coffee/tea in the lobby were well stocked, and the complimentary chocolate when we checked in was a nice treat. The breakfast had a good selection (even hot oatmeal). The staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come here again.

After closing on our house and attempting to move to Milton, PA the closing on our new house was delayed 3 days and we ended up at the Best Western Plus in Lewisburg, PA. To say they were accommodating would be a major understatement. This place went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of during our little homeless stint between closings. We have 4 kids including 2 year old twins and we all got sick just before coming to the hotel. They provided us with extra towels, cleaned throughly everyday and became invested in us getting into our new house! Front desk kept checking if we were OK, breakfast was as expected, free cookies and waters in the fridge. For the price and location, a great value and just really high quality people. It was an extremely stressful time time for us and they made it manageable.
