The Clarion River is called the lifeblood of Ridgway and Lazy River Canoe Rental is the arteries that keep it flowing. We grew up here and raised our children on this wild and scenic river. Now we have our granddaughter out and we trust getting our canoes and kayaks here. She's only 4, but already us veteran of trips and has her own paddle. We never worry about equipment failing or being forgotten at pick-up time. We spent extra time exploring every deep pool along the way on our trip yesterday and it took a quick phone call to push back our pick-up time two hours. They are beyond accommodating and go the extra mile for their customers. Can't recommend them high enough.

We've been coming here for 8 years, and it's always been an awesome trip. Tim, Amanda, & staff are so accommodating, and will go out of their way to make sure you have a good trip! For the Clarion, I won't go anywhere else.

First time to go here and most likely the last!
My group goes canoeing 2-3 times a month and wanted to see new places, 4 of us did the overnight trip.
After we paid ( $218 for the 2 canoes and pick up fee) we waited for at least 25 minutes to get our canoes (they do things differently than other places, instead of driving you up to start, they pick you up when you are done).
The trip was fun and scenic and we enjoyed our time on the river.
We had scheduled to be picked up at noon and we finished around 11:30, had lunch while we waited.
At 12:10, called to see where our ride was and was told they were on the way, he had to stop and get gas!
Finally at 12:45 our ride showed up and I had to help him load everything up!
No apologies!!!
Gas tank was not full, I looked!!!
20 minute ride back, you do the math!!!
Overall pricey compared to other places and lacking in customer service!!!

This is a great service, and I'll likely rent from them again in the future. However, their prices seem a little steep compared to what I've seen elsewhere. They also should pay their drivers enough to the point that a "Please tip your drivers" sign shouldn't be needed for the drive back to LRCR. Our driver wasn't wearing his seat belt, so the vehicle beeped annoyingly at him (and us) for the entire 30-45 minute drive back to LRCR. All in all, though, their service allowed me to have a good weekend on the Clarion River.
