-great location if u just need a short break for resting (walk less than 5 mins to the TSA).

-friendly receptionists

i have been staying in this hotel more than 5 times because my company booked for me, thats why i have no choice.

all the rooms i stayed were not very clean. never have a clean bed to sleep on as you can tell the wrinkles on the bed and the pillow cases.

this time as expected that they didnt change the bed sheet and pillow cases.it does frustrated me...

the bathroom floor was sticky and hairs were on the floor and in the bathtub.

need to wait 15 mins for the elevator.

only 1 microwave in the while hotel which located on 3/F.

i have to stay here again, this time is on 4/F (last time was 5/F).

as i expected, bathroom got at least 2 types of hair from previous customers and bed sheet + pillow cases didn't change again...

I do noticed the hotel owner reply my first comment. But i arrived after 8pm and leave at 6am next morning, so i dont think i can reach to the managment 🤷🏻‍♀️

will come here again next week that i am not excited about😮‍💨

So disclaimer I updated my system of rating hotels. I felt my rates between mediocre hotels and great hotels were to similar. So now I will start ever hotel at 2.5 stars. I will add half a star for each net positive attribute and substract half a star for a net negative attribute.

So here we go.

Four points Sheraton Huntsville Airport

Location: I’m a fan of airport hotels. As a frequent traveler I find the convenience of airport hotels awesome. I generally judge airport hotels on how well they are integrated into the airport. If you have to take a bus … starting off a negative, if it is attached to the terminal positive. And so on and so forth. Four Points Sheraton Huntsville is extremely well intergrated. The front desk is literally inside the airport and from the elevator to security check is 50 feet. The hotel bar dubs as an airport bar. For a net positive.

Customer service, here we go. I generally think American customer service is trash compared to the rest do the world. Entitled service worker drive me nuts. If you are in the hospitality / service business be hospitable and service oriented. It should not feel like you are doing me a favor when we interact. Most of my interaction with the staff were generally not pleasant and made me feeling like I was brothering them. The exceptions were the bartender and afternoon evening front desk gentleman. Stayed for three days and they did not clean my room completely the whole stay. So rating negative.

Amenities: So this is a small hotel. The bar is pretty good. The gym is crazy small but ultimately enough for a quick work out. Especially when you are jet lagged the whole trip and perpetually wake up at 0300. I will say back to another annoying thing about American Hotels, this hotel has a executive lounge that is closed. Which like the service is a negative trend I find in the U.S. but all in all I will give this a net positive rating. Garage is super close to front of hotel and complimentary. Good enough for frequent travels at a mid tier hotel.

Room: Bathroom is poorly designed. The decor of this Sheraton is a bit of a mix between like a Moxy style minimalist and standard mid range hotel. Example the dresser is the type with little boxes and the fixtures are pretty basic. The room AC was the type you need assistance actually make work and the tv didn’t accept external devices like fire sticks. Net neutral not bad but not good.

Over all this so a good hotel. But performs well below its potential due to poor management. Saying all that, I would stay here again. 3 stars

I went back to Alabama for my niece's baby shower and I always fly into the Huntsville airport. Why, you ask? Because it is small and easy to get in and out of. I will literally pay more to be able to walk to my rental car and have the hotel inside the airport.||The hotel itself is clean and comfortable. The beds were awesome and I loved the little hotel bar/restaurant. I ended up talking to some folks there who had friends who had been on Bar Rescue, so we got into a pretty cool conversation about that.||This hotel is kind of a go-to for me due to the convenience level and free parking.

Nice and clean hotel right in the airport.

Not noisy even next to the tarmac. Staff was friendly and helpful. The only tricky part is if you are driving in as I did, you need to pay attention to the signs they are a little tricky to see.

I am so sorry for the one star. I feel terrible leaving it because Courtney in the restaurant was wonderful. I stay in a lot of hotels and specifically airport hotels for work. My room was disgusting. It smelled like mold and mildew. The thermostat was turned off and when I turned it on and air started to flow it smelled like it hadn’t been on in years. I slept in a Covid mask because of the smell. I assume since they let my room get that musty the other rooms can’t be too clean either. If you are deciding between staying at this airport hotel or ubering for $20 to a downtown hotel- the uber will be worth it. Courtney downstairs is great though.

I will never stay here again! Not only did it take 45 MINUTES + to check in but 29 countries and I’ve never had BED BUG BITES till one night here.

I am not a fan of joining rooms and made that very clear after the first room I was given was a joining room. After going to three additional
Rooms I’m finally informed that all rooms except the ones at the end of the all are joining rooms. This was an inconvenience because my partner is handicap.

We ended up staying one night because we had an early start the next day. Just to wake up and BOOM! BED BUGS HAD A FEAST ON MY ARM.

Thankfully we used Lysol before We stayed but that ain’t stop them

We stay here once or twice a month for work. I called today since our flight is getting in when the restaurant closes so that I could order dinner to go, pay for it in advance, and they could leave it at the front desk since my flight is arriving right when they close. The front desk refused - the restaurant refused. The airport is a ghost town - it isn't like they are busy at 8 or 9 tonight and could not cook something simple. I am so tired of flying in here with the airport a ghost town - no place to get food. I am not picky - I don't even mind vending machine snacks to tide me over - but their machines never work, or if I do not have change, the front desk always tells me they do not have change. They are not accommodating for a place that is not super updated. The frustrating thing is that I always leave a huge tip to the restaurant staff and bartender while I wait for food - I didn't ask them to stay late - I am paying for it in advance. They tell you there is Uber or Door Dash but nothing is ever open and they don't deliver this late except pizza. If it were a busy place I would understand - but it is always eerily quiet at night at the front desk and restaurant. Maybe I need to switch hotels - it is just convenient - but not when you are starving after flying all day.

Considering it is in the airport, this is a very quiet hotel which was a super bonus.
Did meet housekeeping staff and very friendly and helpful
