We love historic Prattville. We only visit here about once a year, but we always come back. It is very beautiful, never crowded, there are several shops for everyone in the family.

Downtown Prattville is a beautiful place right on the river. They have wonderful events and lots of beautiful shops. We last went for Parade of Pumpkins during October. Just a walk away from the local public pool where we've spent a couple summers at. You can even float down the river as well as lots do.

For sure a very nice welcome to our new home town. Wonderful effort and very nicely done. A really warm and welcoming old style downtown area. And the spillway is very beautiful and ornate. The people are humble and very kind. Not an overwhelming police presence or unsavory element. Just a bunch of nice families and some teens. Surrounded by restaurants we can't wait to visit.
