No better way to start your western adventure than with Wild Western Horseback Adventures. We had Bryant as our guide and he was perfect. He was very knowledgeable about each of the horses and the terrain. He made sure everyone was comfortable and enjoyed there time. And when we wanted a picture, Bryant was more than happy to take one for us so everyone in our group was in the shot. He even took a video. It was super easy to get on and off the horses. They lined them up near a raised platform so anyone could get on. The trail was gorgeous. And it included a river crossing and tour through a winery. The horses were rescues from meat farms. Just that made this adventure worth every penny. Do yourself a favor and just book the adventure. You won't regret it.

This was an amazing experience!! Our guide Kevin was so great. Not only did we enjoy the entire trail which cuts thru a river and a beautiful vineyard, but Kevin made it an overall fabulous adventure. Kevin was funny, sweet, and a wonderful storyteller. I 100% recommend this to everyone.

My 10 year old son and I went on a ride first thing in the morning (8 am) and we were the only ones in the group which was really nice.  Our guide/wrangler Tomas was also awesome and really made our ride by playing the harmonica while we went through some very nice scenery in the area, including crossing a river which was pretty cool (there was also a little chihuahua named Peanut that followed the horses the whole way and even crossed the water with us despite the water flowing pretty fast, he was definitely a pretty tough little dog for his size :).  My horse was named Paradox and had 2 different colored eyes (one brown and one blue) which I've never seen before.  All in all, this was the best trail ride I've had in a really long time so I give it 5 stars easily!

Fantastic experience horseback riding in Arizona! The scenery, coupled with the gentle horses, made this an unforgettable adventure. Our guide, Bryant, (@cajuncowboy813) was great. He offered a lot of information about the area, the horses, and the winery. Would recommend this trip 🙂

My two daughters (12 and 15) and I signed up for a 1:30 PM tour with Thomas as our guide. We arrived at 1PM per the instructions which said to show up 30 mins early. There was nobody there except the horses. Thomas arrived around 1:15 leading a prior group and told us he had to get a drink/get situated. At 1:35 Thomas came back over and another group of 3 people arrived. We filled out forms then got on the horses and started out on the trail around 2PM. We rode for about an hour and especially enjoyed the part where we rode through the river. The horses were nice/well trained, and Thomas was very friendly and a good guide despite being a little disorganized. My girls absolutely loved the ride and I enjoyed it as well even with it being very hot and dusty. Just wanted to inform other potential guests that you may stand around in the heat if you arrive too early, and I'd definitely recommend bringing water with you and wearing sunglasses to help keep the dust out of your eyes.

We had a great time on our hour long ride through the desert forest over streams with several opportunities to ride at a trot. Brian and his team were kind and knowledgeable with safety at top of mind. Will definitely go back.

If 10/10 stars were an option that would be my review. From
The moment we arrived we loved the ranch and the horses. All the horses seemed happy and well loved. The company was extremely communicative, even texting us after hours to arrange our particular needs. Our wrangler was a true Caballero, entertaining us with stories, jokes and music. He took the time to inquire about our experience and tailored the trip accordingly. The lead guide was Peanut the trail dog with his little bell. He made sure to gets his pets in before we left. The horses were sweet as pie and well trained to respond to gentle commands from the reigns. The trip itself was a mix of rough Arizona desert landscape as well as neatly carved paths through epic tree canopies. One of the two highlights of the trip was our fording of the Verde river where we felt like early Arizona Pioneers trudging the the waters on our way to find gold in there thar hills. The second highlight was summiting a gentle butte through the picturesque vineyard to a cascading valley below. Only regret was not booking the sunset trip. Our guide gave us plenty of time to take once in a lifetime photos and didn’t make us feel rushed. We have rode at a few other ranches in AZ and this is by far the most unique. Other companies make you feel like you’re being herded though a busy carnival ride at a dying relic of the past. Not here… we felt as if we’re were on a Wild West adventure through the Arizona desert! Book with these guys and help support rescue horses and family owned businesses.
