I have traveled with TravelQuest International many times and have always been very satisfied. My first expedition was in 2008 to the geographic North Pole and observing a total solar eclipse a week later. Since then I have traveled with TQ to Union Glacier, Antarctica to observe the total solar eclipse on Dec. 4, 2021 and many awesome points in between. Every tour has been well organized and so much fun. Meeting so many interesting people, catching up with old friends, and making new friendships make these tours so rewarding.

Thanks to TravelQuest I am enjoying this huge globe we call home. They pack your days with fun and food. Totalities and tours. Expeditions with excitement amongst the best assortment of world travelers. Lots of great and growing friendships are the culmination of every excursion. An eclipse is always a welcomed icing on the cake.

This was our 15th eclipse and our 10th eclipse trip with Travelquest, by my reckoning. They do a superb job of planning and executing the tours. Problems, and there are few visible, are dealt with usually proactively, so that we are left with no worries. Who knew there was so much to do around Perth? And how did they find a hotel with "eclipse lights" on the stairway walls in the lobby? Michel Girardin as a Travelquest host is the best anywhere in the world--experienced and always looking out for his travellers' interests to provide the best experience possible. Travelquest travellers are a well-educated, well-travelled and congenial lot. You can have a pleasant conversation on any number of topics with any of them. And they routinely understand the demands of group travel to be on time and get along. We look forward to our next TQ trip for the 2024 eclipse in Mexico.

I experienced my 14th total eclipse of the sun with TravelQuest, April 20, 2023. I have travelled with them to see most of my eclipse experiences, all over the world. I travel as a single and find the staff and local guides which accompany each trip so professional and warm. They are there to help at any stage, from planning to execution

Fascinating tours for nature lovers and eclipse chasers. . . .

TravelQuest specializes in higher-end tours, often with a science theme. We first joined a TQ tour to view a total solar eclipse on Aruba in 1998. Since that time, we've joined TQ on stargazing and nature tours to Costa Rica, a 2006 eclipse in western Egypt, a third eclipse north of Fiji in 2012 and a fourth on Sulawesi, Indonesia. Each tour has been an adventure, with great guides and tour leaders, knowledgeable scientists (many are Astronomy or Sky & Telescope columnists) and fascinating side trips. We've also added on tours of Turkey, Amsterdam and Komodo - the giant monitor lizards are otherworldly - places we'd likely never have visited on our own.!

Have there been problems? Well, sure, stuff happens, but the TQ staff usually manages to get things back on track quickly and professionally. We also have a lot in common with like-minded travelers who are attracted to TQ's tours. It almost always makes for interesting dinner table (or cocktail hour) conversations.

We've used other travel companies, but we keep coming back to TravelQuest. In fact, we'll be heading to French Polynesia for our fifth TQ eclipse in August, 2019.
