Three of us went out on a 9:00 AM, one hour ride on 5/9/25, and had a great time. The horses were nice, gentle, and well behaved. Our guide was very nice and gave us easy, concise instructions before we set out into the beautiful desert. The scenery was spectacular. I wish we had signed up for a longer ride; the hour went by too fast! Very enjoyable for beginner to advanced riders!

My family of 5 with 3 girls ages 8,10 & 12 loved our sunset ride in April. Anna, our guide, kept us entertained with her horse adventure tales and knowledge. My girls ride English back home and loved their cowgirl experience!
The horses are well cared for at MTM which gives you reassurance that you are supporting a good ranch! Highly Recommend!

This is an amazing place to go for a trail ride. I felt safe the whole time and it was one one favorite parts of my trip to AZ. The wranglers and leads are the nicest people. The staff was so happy to hear that I want to become an equine and large animal veterinarian. God bless MTM rancho!! ✝️🙏🙌

To be honest, I’d say the ride was enjoyable. Almost everyone was nice and it seemed pretty chill. The only problem was, One of the elderly female staff. Looked about 70-75 ish made some strange comments to my father. Almost suggestive. I’d say it’s no big deal to shoot your shoot but not when his wife is about 6 feet away from him (which she heard) she also referred to my mother as my (step-mom) Which I corrected her saying that’s my real mom. She scoffed almost Everytime I corrected her (I don’t look like my mother) I’d say the elderly female staff who may or may not have been the owner was really the only unpleasant thing about the whole service. The ride was very enjoyable and everyone else was very nice and professional and provided a great ride with amazing views

The sunset ride was truly beautiful. The horses are very well trained and cared for. Our wrangler guide was very knowledgeable and shared interesting stories. The owner was very accommodating to my medical needs and made sure the guide was also aware. I felt like I was riding with life long friends. They were so friendly and personal.

My fiancé and I had a wonderful time! The guides are wonderful, they’re very thorough with teaching you how to handle your horse if you’re new to riding and knowledgeable about the history and environment with the area. The horses are very well trained and taken care of. The scenery is beautiful as well! I can’t recommend enough!

This place was absolutely awesome! We had never been to Arizona and decided on the 2 hour trail and it didn’t disappoint! The guide explained all the amazing wonders of the Sonoran Desert, the wildlife, the climate, plant life, etc. We even came across a rattlesnake and a gopher snake during the ride. Thrilling, dramatic views of nearby Elephant Mountain and the desert landscape were abundant while the guide provided photos from her personal camera. I highly recommend this ranch for a wonderful horseback riding experience in the Phoenix area!

We had a wonderful time with the MTM team. We did a 1.5 hour ride and the scenery was breathtaking, the horses were very well trained and sweet, and Anna was an excellent wrangler. Thank you for this memorable experience!
