This impromptu evening trip was well worth the time!! I wanted to take the drive at sunset and it was gorgeous!

I played some slots just for fun and was amazed that I won!!

Then I had a late dinner at the market. I was greeted by the Dream Team. They shared everything from local travel tips and warm smiles and they spent time making me feel welcome. Thanks for that!

Elizabeth, Susie and Kim served me a delightful meal with great hospitality, professionalism, and overall delights!

I had a great time and I’ll be back for sure! Thanks! 💜✨☀️

1. This is a retirement community, this is not a resort. Also it's lower class than a motel and people live in the hotel rooms which is very awkward.
2. Casino was aggressive and to be honest not safe. I would not bring my family here. I literally was scared to be alone in this casino. Be very careful they were very specific that they have their own rules on the reservation, they were ready to pull a gun on me for not filling out a w9.
3. The breakfast is great. Probably one of the better meals I have had in Arizona.
4. Our trip was booked through golf breaks, 100% will be filing a complaint, never stay here unless you are trying to save money at your own risk.
5. The casino advertises craps but they do not have it.
6. Booked another hotel because you shouldn't fear for your life at a hotel. I'm not sure how else to explain to people, it's that bad.
7. The casino responded saying w9s are required for a jackpot, but they forced me to fill out a w9 when I sat at the high stakes table, which is not and IRS rule.
8. I spoke to the player services executive host, Barbara Stillerman and manager Keith. They agreed that Mark the pit boss was a mean person, but still defended their response.

I was at the facility for a Rotary conference. The food was excellent, the room was clean and well stocked. Bed very comfortable!! |Jay at valet was wonderful. The morning I was leaving, I used the text link to order my car up, it was waiting front and center when we came down, and Jay was ready with my key and a smile. Excellent way to finish a wonderful stay.

Shout out to Dixie at the hotel front desk! We mentioned upon check in that it was my husband and mine anniversary, they sent up a beautiful arrangement of chocolate covered strawberries, champagne and orange juice with cookies and milk for our 3 children. It made the stay so special.

The room was clean, house keeping was great and staff was nice.
The pool was heated and big! That was our favorite part since we came from Oregon. I bet in the on season the pool will be amazing with the bar and set up!
10/10 we would come here again!

Wekopa Resort nowadays has gone down in customer service. We used to make it a summer vacay getaway but I think that’s has changed due to recent situations. We loved that the bar was open at the pool but the blonde bartender quite older was very rude. We asked for non-alcoholic drinks and she replied “a smoothie” with such attitude. We loved the pool experience but a guest who had an open wound at the pool placed her feet but didn’t want to splashed by other Attending guests. I seriously didn’t want to make such a fuss. So we left in disgust that she didn’t want to get her wound dressing wet. The best part were the Ladies at The Market so very happy and helpful. We love them so much! Always cheerful and have amazing customer service especially in the morning. I hope they get the recognition they deserve.

The buffet here is HORRIBLE!!! We went on April 26 to see Tracy Lawrence and decided to have dinner at the buffet before the show. What a huge disappointment!! The only thing edible was the dessert. I tried a sampling from the Italian food, it was all disgusting and I’m sure it wasn’t at he right temp because the cheese wasn’t melted on the lasagna. So I decided to try the Mexican food. I’m got a tamale, rice, and beans…also Disgusting! At that point we gave up and left. What a waste of $60!! I thought it was safe to get a rum and coke at the bar, nope! That was gross too!! Don’t waste your money here. Go for the entertainment but eat before you get there!!!

Aqua-Tots Swim Schools hosted their third annual Leadership Summit, for the third year at We-Ko-Pa in January. Why do we keep coming back to this amazing resort and conference center? I could say it has to do with the functional conference space, clean and comfortable hotel rooms, and beautiful desert setting, which are all true, but the reason we keep coming back is the people. Your staff is amazing! Michael, Christine, Daniel, and Malory are just a few of the people who made our event exceptional. Their care, kindness, attention to detail, and going above and beyond to make our event a success, are what makes We-Ko-Pa a place to hold our annual event. Thank you all for what you do!

My wife and I went for a semi-regular slot run with a bit of surplus cash. I was first irked that they got rid of the machine that had *just* became my favorite the last time we were there, so it was already off to a bad start.

Then I thought I'd tempt fate with a Buffalo-derivative machine I hadn't seen before; one that has a "BONUS" progress bar that accumulates as you get special symbols come up. This is a straight-up bullshit scam. I spent a lot of money under the belief that once it progressed to the end, the bonus would be triggered. Because that's how progress bars WORK. Nope. I got towards the end and it wouldn't progress any further. Buried in page two of the instructions it says I need to get 6 of the symbols to trigger it. I'd just dumped nearly $60 into the machine and didn't see that many once, least of all when the "progress bar" was capped.

I was willing to accept the bonus being lackluster and anti-climatic. I'm not infuriated that I lost money at a casino. I'm infuriated that this machine presents its functionality in a way that isn't true. It's a scam. Plain and simple. And it says a whole hell of a lot about the casino.
